I don't think so. I think many squads have just struggled with the unrelenting nature of this season. The championship is difficult most seasons but with its late start, its just makes it even harder. It does look like the top six are now breaking away and I doubt that will change much - perhaps one team dropping out or a side from nowhere putting a run together. But below that, other than Wycombe who look like they will finish bottom, it's anyone's guess how it will finish.

But our squad size is now going to be the ace in the pack.

Beforehand was worried our lightweight midfield might get bullied out of things-despite a few shirked tackles and headers, it didn't happen and our quality shone through when it mattered most on the ball.
Lolley again gets an assist-if his condition is sorted I would start him soon.

Negatives
First 2 goals were gifted by worst defence ever seen (great finishes though) and we didnt really open them up a great deal afterwards.
Sheep didn't lose.
Probably being a bit picky as we moved the ball so well and won with 60% possession.
As an aside, had no commentators, but could hear everything from benches. Wycombe bench were like washer Women "ref reeeeeef, Fing ell ref" non stop.
One positive you missed Zico was the improvement of Freeman. I though he played his best game for us today and whilst slow in pace, he was finding some very good passes.
Building up fitness. Aye. Some quality today.

The bar wasnt too high though tbf. Dont think he did anywhere near enough to be a real positive. In fact I think he leaves our (not exactly top draw) left back exposed.
I'm a big believer that players need to do the job the manager asks them to do. I'm not convinced on this one. I would say 5 out of 10 today (as did Evening Post), which is an improvement on his normal performance for us I suppose.
Really hope we dont sign him permanently. Left side options for next year Lolley or Johnson?
On the other hand Knockeart seems to have come out of his poor run of form (Going back to last half of last season at Fulham) and has looked the part last few games. Long may that continue.
Knocker like Colback and Freeman arrived having been out of the picture.
Hughton had the confidence to bring him and stick with him.
Adding Jan's work to Knocker has made Knocker even more compelling. He was quality before and today he really put a shift in and scored a peach.

I missed that!! Fair play to Figs....mind you He always gives the impression he thinks hes Franco Baresi with the ball at his feet, so to make a pass like him is overdue..

Fair play, until recently he's been nothing but a show pony. Recent performances very much like his Brighton form. Long may it continue.
I've mentioned elsewhere, never been convinced by Freeman even when the was fit at other clubs.
If and when we next hit a dodgy patch, we need to trust Hughton. He has never been a massive instant impact manager, more of a build a decent side progressively type of guy. As poor as Wycombe are, on the ball we looked decent today. Hope we stuff Bournemouth to back up these recent results against lower teams.

there might be more bad news Zico, i think the Knocky goal was part of an extended move, intially down the right which faded out, a few Forest players resorting to indecisive faffy mode ... until TOBIAS FIGUERIDO plays a purposeful, straight ball up the pitch, alluding and diffusing the press and so reigniting the move, might be wrong but need to find some extended highlights, still padlocked on iFollow, maybe they are part of the conspiracy and working overtime to photoshop Wozza's head and shirt number onto Figs prior to release?

Our chances of beating Bournemouth have just improved i reckon
Just noticed they are in the 5th Round of the FA Cup and have a 288 mile away trip to Burnley on Tuesday
Though i guess they will charter a plane as it's a 5 hour drive
Our game is an early 12.30 pm kick off on Saturday and it's about 4 hours by road from Bournemouth
Got to help us out surely
Prepare, train and rest well for this game and should win?

Happy to be proved wrong about Murray. It was a good team performance today. Let’s hope it continues and CH continues to encourage this more attacking approach
