COYR!

Yes indeed it is, but my only concern is that are these two young lads physically strong enough for the regular hurly burly of the Championship.

I suppose the answer to that is we'll have to wait and see. Figs has looked strong enough so if that's anything to go by then they'll be fine.

Summers shaping up rather nicely, good quality experiences players who can lead the young guns. How great is it that we are the ones doing the poaching for a change.

Carvalho is supposed to have a great eye for a pass. Something we lack.

from A Bola -

Diogo Gonçalves and João Carvalho are one step away from moving to England, more precisely to the historic Nottingham Forest, which finished the last edition of the Championship in 17th place (24 teams), far from the fight for the climb to the Premier League, but willing to start a project that will take him back to the big stage.

The 21-year-old and the midfielder of the same age are therefore in the plans of the English club, which, as you can read in this Saturday's edition of A BOLA, is in negotiations with Benfica ahead of the conclusion of business, which can mean significant fit for the incarnated SAD.

Loan and / or exit are definitely at issue at the moment, as the process has not yet been completed, but there is already a basis of understanding between the parties, footballers are waiting and just waiting for orders from the Light to be able to travel to England and comply with formalities, even because the salaries of Championship players are much higher than those practiced by most Portuguese League clubs.

Enjoying all these rumours...hope some of the materialize early...or the enthusiasm will start to dwindle nd questions asked...better surprise signings...this is building too much expectation...

I've got to say that I am more relaxed with the Portugese looking interest this season as opposed to the Scottish looking one of last year.

A Bola: #Benfica Ruben Dias getting AC Milan interest. Team will consider selling if a 30M+ offer comes along. Latest reports say Nottingham Forest will buy Joao Carvalho (estimated 15M) and get on loan Diogo Goncalves (estimated 20M buyout after loan).

If that happens WOW.

These guys are at the airport and on there way, this is looking VERY good.... 15mill Euro purchase would be literally the blow your socks off signings about 12 years later!
