Will take the results over a performance any day of the week especially now. Just got to hope with us finally makes some of our own luck we can carry it over to next week. Get a string of wins and I'm hopeful the football will then improve.

One if our worst second halves....and we won !!!!
Not even a proper shot on goal...and we won !!!
Our last two goals...one an auto goal and the other z penalty ... must be a record...
I take the points, but we rode our luck big time ...at least to make up for some misfortune we might have had in the past weeks...
But CH must be scratching his head... we are creating nothing and it's up to the defence that we are getting some points...
Forget the fancy names , but we need some real change in our final third ... I doubt that we are going to be lucky as today again...

One of the reasons if not the main reason we are not looking good in the final third is because of our full backs. The quality of our full backs passing and crossing is absolutely dire.

Crossing from Rebeiro today was the worst I seen for ages. Christie usually throws a couple of decent crosses. The problem is that we font have targets up front. Grabban is not going thd job and now Taylor has been frozen on the bench. We need a big man like when Billy brought Adebola. We are crying for that sort of player, at least to scare the opposition... our two strikers are so easily '  controlled'..

Taylor struggling with the support play.
Grabbs struggling with the support play.

There might just be a clue there?

Phew! Great result after a poor 2nd half. Clean sheet too-just.

The balls into the box were not great today (to put it mildly) but at least we were getting into good positions to put them in.

A win is a win. That Millwall game is looking quite big in a couple of weeks. Put the kids out and a few fringe players who need minutes in FA Cup (and I love the FA Cup normally). Will be a battle so need Sow and Yates fit and healthy for that one.

Well done lads, really dug in.

We really need to keep the momentum going.

A 2 week rest for players and they lose rhythm.

Play our best team and let’s grow confidence

Good away win. Other than a short spell after half time we kept it tight, defended well and took the chance when it came along.

5 unbeaten, 3 clean sheets and 9 points. The self belief is beginning to come.

23 balls into the box and only about 3 made the cut..?  At least the coaching progression from Hughton is there to get Forest into those positions is there.  Can Chris coach Rib and Ameobi to deliver better crosses or does he bring it in from outside the squad in January? Perhaps we need a big target man to rough the defences more and a couple more incisive attacking options.

This was a must win game for me and great to do that against a consistent Preston squad.

The 2nd half vs Stoke and the 1st half vs Preston suggest we're turning the corner..

I agree, no midweek games for the next two weeks anyway so plenty of rest. Good opportunity to experiment with grabban and Taylor up front perhaps

I have seen the replay of the penalty but I can't see any double touch. Can anyone tell me if I'm right or not?
