I’d go with that - but with Grabbs & not Taylor.

Fully understand though if I’m in a minority ( of one ) there...

I think stoke was a game to early for mckenna . But if fit he plays
Lolley , Knockaert and mighten as a fluid 3 that can interchange or give lolley a free role , he looked sharp when he came on .

Lolley turned the game coming off the bench, Knocky i feel more is an impact player and Grabban will make an effort for 20 minutes and can make a big differance so these I would bring on, ideally to win the game in the last half hour or salvage the game if neccessary

I would also maybe keep back Guerrero and Ameobi for the late party

So starting the game i'd focus on being solid and all the others pretty much, maybe Ribs and Christie also deserve a rest, they seem to cover alot of ground and can make a differance so could also feature from off the bench also including Mbe Soh and maybe McKenna!!

You have to agree that is a damn strong bench!

And i want us to have a damn good FA cup run this year and could help kickstart the league form, also need to get as many involved even if just as shop window dressing but assuming they will all be around get everyone feeling part of something

Even so Samba Brice, Jenks, Figs, Worrall, Ioannu, Yates, Sow, Mighten, Arter, Taylor, Freeman or anyone else getting back to fitness

2 changes around HT and 3 for last half hour, try and get an extra 10% out of everyone, to be honest that Ioannu player played well ok only for 1 game and a long time ago but he seemed useful and i thought Freeman was busy, hard working and did ok as well

Taylor is good for tiring the oppo defence ready for fresh legs in the last half hour.
I’d play pretty much the finishing XI the other day.

I just hope we can kick on from the positive second half performance. Too often the players come off a promising performance and revert back to being shite the next game. Play poorly, concede a soft goal from a defensive mistake and then only begin to play after about 50-60 minutes.

Is it too much to ask for them to perform better from the start and not allow the opposition to get a head before they get into the game?

No, Grabban must play imo too. Just keep him away from our goal please.

I’m with you both, I would partner him with Guerrero as he needs someone more advanced in support. Cafu has not done it anywhere enough for the last three games

We have only seen glimpses of Guerrero, but i'd be happy for him to start alongside Grabbs, though i do think Cafu could really produce some class off the bench later in the game, so yes, looking forward to seeing Cafu, Taylor, Lolley, Knocky and Sammy Ammy introduced on 60 minutes

Preston have won there last 3 games without conceding but in a weird sort of way it makes it better, they seem to of done a bit of a Stoke, not played particularly well but picked up results.

There fans were even having a poll to get Alex Neil out as recently as .. last month!
