We’re kidding ourselves if we think we deserved a point from it. They dominated the first half until they scored. It was obvious from watching, but if you want some stats it was 66% possession to 34%. 15 shots to 6.  4 shots on target to 0. 

We do better after half time, but they had the lead. Then when we equalize so they come straight back at us and take the lead again quickly. Then we ‘do better’ again. There’s a reason for it is what I’m saying, and we can’t think we’ve gone toe to toe with them and been unlucky. The clue is when something keeps happening, it’s not luck.

Though I don’t see that his timing is justified.

Tend to agree. The only game this season which we have won after dominating the game is Wycombe at home. That is the level of our performances so far. We have looked good in spells in other games, but we always make unforced errors which lead to goals for the opposition. We are mentally weak and lack leadership on the field.

Fair enough.
We were as bad as I’ve witnessed all season for the first 20 minutes - including so many horrendous examples of just gifting the ball to the opposition when in no danger.
But - for me - we were decent for the last hour ( despite a totally misfunctional midfield ).
Arter ( don’t get me started ), Cafu & Sow would I reckon be the slowest, most cumbersome Reds midfield in living memory.
