Lovely turn by Knockaert inside the box but the keeper saves his goalbound shot, Arter puts the rebound way over

Full Time

Excellent result

Well done lads. Easiest 3 points we will probably get all season but comes at a really good time for us, could see the confidence growing by the minute. Much much better.

Samba: did everything he needed to do, another good performance
Christie: excellent cross for the first, an attacking threat, not really tested defensively
Ribeiro: improvement from Wednesday, getting forward well and stood up to McLeary
Figs: much improved, best performance in some time
McKenna: Mr Consistency
Sow: didn’t do a lot wrong but not imposing enough
Colback: did what Colback does, held on to the ball at times when others would have got rid under pressure
Knockaert: a threat from set pieces and created a great chance in injury time but must do more when we play better opposition
Ameobi: best performance in a while, seems more comfortable with Ribeiro as a partnership
Guerrero: My MOM, excellent hold up play and desire
Taylor: took both goals well, needs to be better linking up but benefitted from playing in a front two

Yates: ok, lucky when giving the ball away
Lolley: carried the ball well but nowhere near his best
Arter: probably should have had two goals with a little more composure

A professional performance. Taylor great, right when he was needed. His second goal was class. I dont remember Grabban scoring a similar goal since with us.
I didnt agree with two of the substitutions.
Yates was given as Sow have only 45 minutes in his legs, in reality J dong know why we start him, it's not as if he is a match winner or anything.
Ameobi was playing well nd didnt look tired or anything, intact I don't think he liked it. It seems Knockhart is a favourite as if CH wanted to bring Lolley in, it should have been for AK nd not Ameobi.
Same Guerrero, if he was quite in the second half it was because we started to suffer as on Wednesday.
Dilemma for when return, no chance Taylor will not start, so nd if Grabban is fit, where he is going to play? Guerrero did more in the minutes he played today nd Wednesday then Grabban this season.
Ribeiro is a given now, the number 3 spot is his. Christie had a good game today especially going forward. Fugi is the one at risk if Worrall is fit.
Anyway, a good return if points for CH in his first tranche of games.
