It is Sniff, 9 points from 6 games aint actually too shabby, for a team that had just lost its opening 5 games its actually pretty miraculous.

On the flip side we still look poor as a team, second half we looked woefully unfit and couldnt  string 2 passes together. We are still yet to play any of who I would consider the strongest teams in this division either.

Question is.....will we do like we did last year and turn up against the better teams?!? Perhaps that's what we're waiting for before putting in some proper performances?

Its the glue in midfield thats missing.......someone who can either take the ball and run at them and carry it forward.......or someone who can find a good pass to get things going.

Sow was the man and the difference in the 1st half. He became less effective after the yellow card and then totally tired in the 2nd half. He is unfit. He tired the whole team suffered.

Hopefully CH is not stupid and can see this, and see clearly that Yates and Colback is not going to work.

I think Figs should be dropped against Wycombe.

Possibly Cafu to start alongside Colback with Sow on the bench, or Sow to start but with Cafu on the bench to replace.

So we've only played 1 top 6 side so far, who duly beat us.

And 7 of the 10 games we've played so far have been against opposition in the bottom half of the table.

I think last night was more about fatigue than anything else so I'm not going to lambast the players. Let's not forget that we're coming to the end of a hectic run of games and had 2 consecutive away games before last night. As I said last night, the players who've played regularly in that period looked shattered and the players that haven't are either unfit or playing semi injured. It's no surprise we faded badly IMO.

Saturday's game will be another scrap and the fatigue element will be a leveller. I'm expecting a really hard game that's low on quality.

Figs was showing the most sign of fatigue last night I thought. I think his issue is that he loses concentration when he tires. He maybe needs a rest. I'd bring Mbe Soh in for a game.

He has a point, Taylor was looking for the pen, think he had taken one touch to many to score from the chance.

It was nowhere near as embarrassing as the dive from Figs.

Yep, I actually think he did the right thing. He never looked like outpacing the defender and was always wider than he would've wanted to have been so the chances of him putting an effort away without going down were slim IMO . It's an ugly way to win games which I don't particularly like but as you say, plenty like that have gone against us.

I don't trust Christie at right back - he seems to get pulled out of position and beaten for pace easily meaning Figs has to come across to cover. Also doesnt seem to make much effort to get back in position....

Thought Ribs did very well last night considering it was his first game for a while.

I find it hard to comprehend Christie getting the nod over Darikwa TBH!

As much as I’m not keen on Jenkinson, I think Christie looks a bit shot, and the games have caught up with him. I would give him a go on Saturday
