Another uninspiring performance against another average side. Conceding in the first half, equalising in the second and other than that a pretty dull and tedious performance.
And to be honest, even with 11 I don't see us winning that.
Simply have to play better from the off.
All very predictable

Fair play to jenkinson too. Got caught once but can forgive him that as it was a freak ball out of defence. He won his headers and kept possession well out of position.

Good hard working 2nd half performance and a deserved point.
We dont look anywhere near being a good side yet though.
Hughton has form for not using subs much. Weird when the likes of Lolley need to manage their game time and are having to work harder when a man down.

Yates was immense. Would like to see him with a more progressive partner.

Getting annoyed with our corners and FKs into the box.. always seem high and to the far post hoping someone knocks it back in front of goal..
there keeper is notoriously error prone. Why not put the ball down his throat and see if he fluffs it.
Still, happy with the point after the red card

I’ve been his biggest critic - but fully agree.

Good second half from the boys. I dont think we could have asked for more effort from thd players, they gave everything. The problem is that we are not a team yet. The complete performance from 'a team' isn't coming.
We r still suffering at set pieces, especially corners. Central midfield was much better, biyhColback nd Yates did their job, but they dont have that killer pass in them.
Knockhart was a disappointment today. Did more in 20 minutes v Derby then the whole game today.
Jenkinson wasn't too bad. Lolley is so nd so, is it justified to leave Freeman out for him?
What can we say on Taylor, he never stopped pressing players, won 50 50 balls, he had no chances but still I feel deserve the lond striker place over Grabban.
All in all, happy with a point but it looks like we have to contend with relegation fight this year as the the teams at the top are starting to pull away. Only some 5 or 6 wins on the troth might change my view, but I think this group need more games to be able to go on a winning run...

Samba: really struggling from corners, wasn’t commanding, played to Luton’s strengths
Christie: consistenly giving away free kicks in terrible areas. Decent cross for our goal
Ioannou: terrible first touch
McKenna: steady as usual but one of many not quite good enough for their goal
Figs: bad distribution first half but generally tended to head it and kick it when needed
Colback: doing what Colback does
Yates: shows where we are when he is one of the best players on the pitch. Thankfully their defender stopped him from missing the header
Ameobi: worst game this season. Shouldn’t have let the ball run out, one decent cross
Knockaert: got into good positions but, barring one slide ball in to Taylor, created little of substance
Lolley: one decent game this season, doesn’t deserve his pick
Taylor: offered nothing that Grabban doesn’t. Too ponderous first half with the slide ball from Knockaert and the cross from Ameobi
Jenks: steady

i thought we were doomed when Jenks came on for Sammy
the team galvanised well in the 2nd half a goal and a man down, the belief seem to click in and sort of bossed it with 10 men for quite alot of the 2nd half
to be honest i think kit is primarily to blame, absolutely awful, what were they thinking with the overwashed to death look?

He is still finding out about his team and squad. We have a squad to make changes when needed - it’s back to basics for a bit then the team will grow- look at CH record - it is what he does.
A word on knockeart- he ran his bollocks off too and almost tried too hard I think and he links up very well with Christie. I would have liked freeman on second half and also mighten but can see CH logic.
