Why don't The Atletic interview someone who is very happy at the club and who loves the club and as recently signed a new contract because they want to stay at the club like Worrall, Yates or Mighten or Gary Brazil.
Why do they always interview failures or players who have just been sold and who hold a grudge like Adomah because we blocked his move to Cardiff.
Actually don't bother. I already know the answer to that $$$$$$$$$$.

That is not fair mate. It's not just me. I am trying TPL but others won't let me!
Regarding the Athletic it would be nice if they could balance things up a bit by interviewing a player or member of staff who has some positive things to say about the club and it's owners and their staff. There are plenty to choose from.

But they’ve done nothing!
The Adomah experience was just one of several examples - and, to be honest, didn’t say anything that we couldn’t already surmise.
I’m afraid you’re just going to have to embrace the debate & accept that a number of contributors have a point.

Hold on a minute.
I have to let it go but the others can carry on with their conspiracy theories and idle gossip?

To be fair Sniff I have yet to see any conspiracy theories.
We’re just debating issues surrounding the club.
As I keep saying - we all have the best interests of the club at heart.
No one on here has any firm inside knowledge ( though I do have my suspicions that one poster is more in the know than most ).

Conspiracy theories, muck raking we can call it what we want. It needs to stop though it's not helping anyone is it and it looks like it 's not helping this forum either. Not surprised Sniffer is brassed off. it's his forum and some don't even want him to be allowed to fight his corner.

Not to rake up old.wounds but just on the Adomah front, it all worked out great as he ended up at his boyhood club. So not really any reason for him to be upset, clearly he wasn't treated great.
Personally I think its good these practises being highlighted. It will hopefully allow for a rethink in treatment of staff in some cases. Remember at the end of the day its a consumer entertainment industry. Negative PR will reflect poorly on the club in terms of attendance (in normal circumstances) and merch revenue, in the long run. Admittedly its less of an issue than someone consumer businesses but nevertheless its in the clubs interest to improve these aspects.
Perhaps as you say Sniff the club needs to start putting forward a more positive spin. PR has never been our strong point. I would say keeping local journalists onside is a big part of positive PR, dont forget the horrible Billy Mk 2 days

Results and investment in the team affect attendances. Gossip hardly has any effect at all. The most obsessed fans who frequent forums care about such things, but most fans won’t be interested in behind the scenes gossip, they only care whether the club is winning.
In general, the PR around the club is better than it has been for many years.
