To be fair 2 points dropped against a team that didn’t have a shot. We should have spanked them 5-0

How have we not won that.. not sure what's wrong with grabben but he's been poor since after last season's break..

We created enough clear cut chances to win 3 bloody
games

The lack of urgency until we went behind was baffling - and totally unacceptable.

And the performance of Grabban? Words fail me.

Should have won and realistically needed to win that but I am glass half full on the performance.

Surprised only 4 minutes of injury time as well.. thought Rotherham took the proverbial most of that 2nd half

Disallowed goal (what for is beyond me!), hit the bar, hit the post, two goal line clearances, keeper made a few stops............just not our night.

We do need to start playing in the first half though. We kind of get the first 15 minutes looking positive then drift out of the game for the next 30.

We could've won that 5-1, but luck wasn't with us again tonight.

We move on...............bring on the Derby

Thoughts

Samba: nothing to do, can’t really stand up for the penalty
Christie: slipped to concede the penalty, wasn’t terrible and got in some good positions but no real end product
Ioannou: terrible
McKenna: like a Rock, not just any rock but Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Figs: much improved, look more comfortable on the ball
Yates: missed a golden chance again, if he’s a box to box midfielder then he must take those chances
Colback: drove us forward at times, carried the ball ten yards up the pitch, not sure we need him and Yates
Ameobi: a little too anonymous but scored the goal which others couldn’t do
Lolley: like a new man, turning up all over the pitch, gave them a really hard time MOM
Freeman: anonymous for the second game running, looked a little lightweight against a physical team
Grabban: missed a good chance second half when slipped in by Lolley, just not going for him, made the goal, everyone’s new favourite scapegoat

Taylor: did very little, does he know where the box is?
Arter: see Colback

Glass half full for me
