Fantastic result. Most pleased with a clean sheet...... can't lose if you do that every match!
Let's have a top run of games now, bring them on thick and fast, definitely feel like we should deal with a congested fixture list better than most!

Back 4 played very well.
Samba -7: didnt have much to do really but good positioning and distribution OK
Christie -8: very good today - covered back post well a few times and did try and support Lolley in attack - solid
Figgs -8: Did well coming back into the defence after a few games out - should have scored but a decent game
McKenna -8: Very good - dominant in the air and decent distribution - looks a good buy and made for the championship
Iaonnu -8: decent player - quick strong and looks to overlap - more suited to championship than riberio
Yates: 8.5 - a very solid performance and won many midfield battles and kept the ball well. a reason blackburn drew a blank as stopped attacks at source.
Colback- 7: decent solid colback performance - like a rash on opposition and evans should have had 2 yellows against him
Lolley - 7: would have been a 5 if not for his goal. However he kept going and got his reward
Ameobi- 7: hard working - unlucky to hot the post and worked hard stopping the full backs overlapping
Freeman: 7: some lovely touches - can see he has quality and once he clicks with others in attack will be key to the combination play.
Grabbs: 6: starting to look a bit leggy and old to me... no doubt he will prove me wrong in the next week
Taylor 7: looked lively
Arter: 7: busy and more forward thinking than our other cms. decent half and good that we have depth in this position as they will get knocks

Think some of Ozzy’s scores above a bit generous cos we weren’t great to be honest. But we were the better team, looked solid and good away performance.
Good grief it feels better to get that win, Get another Tuesday and watch that confidence build.

Possibly inflated by the fact we won for the first time in 8. Take -2 of each ?

Samba -6: Did not have anything to do, so cannot give more than a 6
Christie -7: Looks like a very good right back. Better than cash aerially, as he is taller.
Figgs -7: More like the Figs of old, winning lots of challenges.
McKenna -8: When he settles in fully, he is going to be the solid rock of our defence.
Iaonnu -7: Definitely the best left back the club currently has.
Yates: 8 - Workhorse performance.
Colback- 6: Slow. Been very slow all season. He needs to up his fitness and awareness and speed.
Lolley - 6: Goal aside, still not looking up to speed. Will be my one to be dropped for Knock Knock.
Ameobi- 7: Decent performance - lots of helping cover at the back. Would keep him fresh for Friday and play Mighten against Rotherham.
Freeman: 8: Good game. Like Carv you can see his thinking is a few steps ahead of others, however, he has the fight and drive Carv lacked.
Grabbs: 6: He should not be captain.
Taylor 7: looked lively and took people on. Strong.
Arter: 7: Got drive, with him, Cafu, Yates, Colback, Sow and more all wanting that position - we have lots of strength in the middle.
Overall, if you take that this season is going to be game after game after game with lots of knocks and injuries - we are well suited with a lot of strong players. I believe we will be top 6 by Christmas, maybe top 2.

I thought forest were excellent, very worried boing in to the game defensively with Blackburn scoring for fun recently, but my days they could of played all week and not scored.
Get those solid foundations back and a bit more flair up top and we will be motoring. Liked the fact we played 10 yards further up the pitch yesterday.
You need that bit of luck with the goal and the run we were on to get the 3 points. Long may that continue. We will develop as a side and become much stronger as an attacking threat it will just take time.
