Opposition Fans Comments
Ive never read a set of more deduled comments. What in our recent results suggest we're going to concede 3 or 4 goals to them? Why should their forwards have a field day? Our Keeper utter shit? They've beaten better sides? Malmo a shit side? Maybe, but what about Cologne, or then current european champions, Liverpool?

And the guy who lives in Nottingham and only knows Notts County fans, does he live in an old folks home? Ive lived in Nottingham all my life and can honestly say I dont know a single County fan.

What a bunch of ignorant idiots. I hope we smash them. Then they're going to have to win 11 out their last 16 games!

Hate Stoke. Had loads of them at work recently and they really think they are the best club on loan to the championship. They have a deluded idea that their support is amazing and they ‘deserve’ to be in the premiership.

Amazing what a couple of years playing rugby in the premiership can do for egos!

I suppose the same is levelled at us from the outside though…

Any fanbase who boo a player for *checks notes* having his leg broken by one of their thugs has to be treated with disdain.

I like it when opponents underestimate us, lets hope their team do too. I would prefer us to remain below peoples radar, unfortunately the cup run and tv coverage has put paid to that a little.

Used to be Ozzy but after a good 20+ years in the 2nd division I'd like to think we're fairly established here now!

Yep, totally. My biggest worry now we've popped our heads over the parapet is that Cooper's achievements are beginning to be noticed.

A few more Stoke Pre Match Comments....

We absolutely thrashed them in 2020, one of our best results to win 4-1 and Ty had a blinder. Please repeat Stoke!

I noticed this morning the local paper are using that result as motivation for tomorrow. Not only did we thrash them but that result meant Swansea (ironically managed by Cooper) took Forest's place in the playoffs. If we'd only beaten them 3-1 they'd have kept their place.

Absolutely surrounded by forest fans at work… All of whom seem fairly confident on the back of the thrashing of Leicester and their win at Blackburn (and rightly so).

However they seem to have forgotten that they were in a similarly strong position when we beat them 4-1 (Ultimately costing them a place on the play-offs I think?)

The best part of the forest fans is their complete inability To take the piss out of themselves. One workmate keeps saying “we’re going to batter you and Surridge will get the winner”

It takes the wind from his sails when I reply with ‘well we are Stoke city and we like to make life difficult for ourselves so probably” - think he’s looking for an argument tbh and upset that he can’t get one

His boasting is built on a logical fallacy. How can they batter us and Surridge gets the winner? Batter us by 1 goal?

Looking at their message board it stinks of hubris. I think they'll win most likely thanks to a dubious ref (the idiot who sent off Delap v Barnsley?) but would LOVE it if we pissed on their parade.

We are more than capable of beating them, to be honest I will be annoyed if we don't. Blackburn have looked poor, and Leicester don't seem anywhere as good as last season. It's a match worth more than 3 points(so to speak) as it gains us ground on those above.

From the far too many times I’ve seen them on telly lately Forest look a dynamic team who have certainly got the wind in their sails. I worry about our defences ability to keep them at bay. Having said that our squad with addition of the loanees is every bit a match for theirs - and then some. It’s a big one tactically for MON and if he gets it right there is every chance of a good result.
I too have a premonition that the ref could play a big part in this one and , last Tues apart , that usually isn’t good news for us.

Agree about the referee premonition especially because Cooper is manager. I remember the referee being conned into giving Swansea a winning penalty against us back when he was their manager.

Surridge, I think he'll be a late sub at most, as he hasn't had the time to get used to the team, and they to him. They have a winning team they might not want to break up for his sake. Of course the last 15-20 mins is where you're quite likely to concede, as legs and minds could be tired.

If necessary, such as if we're defending a narrow lead, we shouldn't shy away from subbing in a player to look after him especially. If he's not in the starting eleven, it could be a job for Moore. Bully him a little; he might help getting himself sent off, as we know he eaily does.

I really hope we batter these arrogant arseholes on Saturday and then look forwards to reading their excuses, passing the buck and blaming everyone but themselves for their demise.

A few years ago the US Company I was working for at the time had a 'yank' family who were Chelsea fans. They were super excited to be visiting England and were using the opportunity to go see 'The Blues' away at Stoke. Hoping to take in the locale pre- and après Match they asked me what the.....ahem...''City''of Stoke was like.

''Its a shite-hole........just like their football team and their fans''.

And I stand by this.

You've put 0-0 HT and 1-0 FT in the predictions league mate, do you want me alter your prediction in there?
