I think a fair way is a consistent cap on wages and transfers but it would never happened because of agents and sky ect.

 Most likely, we were able to write off 5m in Covid losses in championship, PL clubs were allowed to claim 100m plus with no limit whatsoever.

Can't recall where I saw it but apparently both clubs will (eventually) be charged under the current legislation.

When questioned in front of the select committee about future changes to FFP, Richard Masters said categorically the current P&S rules would still be in place next season (at least).

The devil would be in the detail, but the principal of being able to spend the same amount sounds appealing in a way, isn't that what they do in F1?

That definitely sounds fairer than what they have voted through. Would still stop a Newcastle overspending too.

It's pretty similar to how the salary cap works in the NFL.
