First, Sabri is Head Coach.

Sabri is not the manager.  There will not be a "manager" again. Only a replaceable Head Coach based on results.

I believe EM will use this week to line up the new Head Coach.  New Head Coach will watch Saturdays game and take over from Monday 5th October morning, with 2 weeks to work with the squad before the next game.

Obviously win, lose or draw, Sabri will get sacked either Saturday after the game or Monday.

I would not be surprised if Sabri has been told already he is leaving, hence the big squad change, he has been told to get minutes into the new players legs and go through the motions whilst the new Head Coach is recruited.  Make sure the final signing/s happen, get the players match fit and complete the hand over.

Its not all cutthroat like the media likes to play it as........sometimes its all agreed in advance.......the compensation is very attractive.

i think head coach is flawed, i want a manager, to get a good head coach they need to be a manager and a coach is basically a manager in a straight jacket, all this support team there's too many plus scouts and directors and whatever else, I'd like a manager, which is basically a coach who is allowed to keep his ego, self esteem and opinions and wade into any conversation if it relates to his passion for the job and the club.

My mate knows Kevin Nolan and lad plays in same team as his. He reckons big Sam would be interested... probably not that reliable but no reason to bullshit me...

Threads like this are certainly adding fuel the fire but even though we have seen a slow start to the season I strongly believe that Sabri represent our best chance of getting something out of this season and I'm certain that with the squad we now have it will eventually click into place and we will go on run. We as a club need stability more than anything else. Continuing with the chop and chance strategy will most likely result in failure.

I would prefer him to remain at the club because I also believe he represents the best chance of us challenging this season. Sadly it feels like that ship has already sailed and we are only waiting for the axe to fall.

Big Sam was good enough for England 4 years ago... he knows the championship and how to get out of it. He has managed in the city and has 100s of games experience in the premiership. Would he work as a head coach - he would with a years contract with a big fat promotion bonus I’m sure...

We’ve tried the former England manager route before, it lasted all of 13 games.

To be honest we’ve tried every bloody style of manager you can think of, I despair of it all.

Nigel Pearson is a proper manager, tells it how it is, tells chairman who want to spy on his training sessions to take a flying f***, bundles refs out of the dressing room, pins opposing players to the ground, tells it how it is, brings in kids, makes tough decisions, this guy would sort out Nottingham Forest, i'd say only this sort of guy could sort out Nottingham Forest

He's still hungry and angry, this is what we need

Get rid of all the deadwood, we don't need recruitment teams just good contacts in the game with someone well connected.

This guy is serious, heavy duty, but it's whether we want someone who can sort everything out, stand up to anyone and everyone

This guy won't get appointed, we have some modern, sinister, theoretical collective of crap which we will stick with

We need nasty, roll the sleeves up and get stuck in, it's simple

This guy is the architect of the modern game, nothing neanderthal, the opposite, set the foundations for £15m team to consistently turn over £500m teams, serious contender imo
