I don’t see the point in 5 games, either back him or sack him. I’d much rather back him, he’s obviously hurting and hopefully he and the club can work out where they went wrong and move on with renewed purpose.
We cannot keep changing managers/coaches.
Recruitment wise we need to learn lessons, steer clear of the injury prone and wild cards!

Don't think it was the owner.
The recruitment team which Sabri is a part of screwed up.
Sabri wanted Freeman for example, he wanted him badly but he got Da Costa and Walker back instead.
Too many chefs in the kitchen. One wanting one thing and others wanting another.
This needs sorting. It's all well and good having a recruitment team but the manager must have the final say.

Freeman would have been an excellent addition. It's a shame.
Our best players are generally the ones that knew the league already . Especially when you are mounting a promotion charge at a pivotal stage.

To be fair re Grosicki it was reported at the time that we'd had a bid accepted for him as well as West Brom, but he chose them.

It seems that this summer could be a long one with lots of cuts with our finances impacted. Could well sell quite a few of the cream and be left with the ones we cannot get rid of.
Let's hope our recruitment is good this year or it could be a tough one next year.

The reason he rejected forest was because he didnt think the ambition was there to get promoted and felt he had more chance at WBA. That was feedback from his agent to the club.

It is true. We went from being linked with proven championship players who would have strengthened both first team and squad to getting a bunch of stocking fillers from a discount pound land.
Da Costa - unproven and not prolific as a striker. Also for a 29 year old has played 149 times in whole professional career. 22 year old Cash has already played five more times in his career.
Walker - a player who was doing well in League One but had been tried three or four times by previous managers and considered not good enough for championship. He is 23 years old so surely it was now or never. Was barely used before and after the break came on once for about 1 minute
Diakhaby - one of the worst players to turn out in a Forest shirt. God knows what any of the clubs who shat out a combined £18 million for him.
Bong - he featured for 59 minutes and hasn't been seen since.
No good trying to defend these signings. We needed more attacking options with pace - well they got them in. Just that the quality was not there. They added one goal, no assists and did nothing to provide defensive cover.
This lack of strengthening fatally undermined the second half of the season and during the restart the players who could be chosen simply ran out of steam.

Seems to be a couple of tweets suggesting Francois Modesto and Jose Anigo are leaving the club. Has anyone heard anything?
