Good god their thread is difficult to read. I reckon most of this guys that post on there are armchair fans.

It’s pretty boring posting the same old crap but they’re right about not being our rivals. They should aspire to be but seem happy where they are. Currently so far behind us.

Initially I had a horrible vision of a 1-1 and losing on penalties, hope I'm wrong.

Looking for the kind of professional performance put in away to Brentford last season, turn up, show your class (Ok went a goal down but stayed calm), get the job done, move on, don't get caught up in the hype merchants giant killer / derby narrative. Forest look tidy and much improved under Cooper and will have nothing to lose, just need to do our stuff and stay calm, leaving bomb-scares like Vestergaard away from the team sheet (although Soyuncu is prone to gifting things this season) would rule out that way in to the game for Forest and keep 11 on the pitch if it gets feisty. Changed me mind, 2-0 City, Daka & Barnes.

Agree with all of the above. The one worry is that we will be bullied by Forest. We are easily the weakest (physically) team in the premier league and this total lack of power,  presence or any jot of physicality, will give confidence to the opposition. Think we may get brushed aside (hope not!).

are all forest fans robots? i swear they say the same 2 things every time they mention leicester. one is that they dont care about leicester, the other is them moaning about businesses being ripped off 155 years ago.

They’re forever banging on about us going into administration for some reason, like it’s something we did on purpose. It was not exactly a great time for the club!

Let’s not forget their clown messiah Fawaz (allegedly) never seemed to pay his invoices even though they were solvent.

Yep, FA Cup games leading up to us winning it, European games, top 4 challenges, league cup bottle jobs. The list goes on, this game ain't even close in terms of stakes other than local pride.

Saying that it's big for our travelling fans who have not been Forest for years as well as the younger lot who may have never been.

This is one of their biggest in a while mind, my Forest mates are all bang up for it. Other than them bottling the play offs on the final day I can't remember many big games they've had recently? Other than the Brian Clough trophy of course

Personally i'd go full strength against Forest and not take any risks - Cup games are must win to try and salvage something from this season.

I live in Nottingham, and I'll be heading back to the homeland to watch the game in a Leicester pub - why the hell would I want to be here?!

I think it is generational but i personally see Forest as a rival ….dislike them with a passion as I grew up in the 70’s / early 80’s when they were immense….including beating us repeatedly and a 5 nil in late 70’s still irks now..

All this patronising drivel that we are superior is bloody embarrassing…we have come a long way but football is cyclical so enjoy the ride….Forest do matter to many of us and I don’t mind admitting it….

I for one will be loud and proud tomorrow and hope we stick 5 past them and every goal would be celebrated wildly……it won’t be that easy and I hope BR goes full strength!

I don't know any Notts Forrest fans, feel like I'm missing out.

I knew one once that sent me a text the day after we won the Premier League reminding me that Notts F are still more famous. Not heard from him since (I think he knew really).

After we win this is it asking too much to want Posh or Cov (hopefully) away next?

Leicester fans got real lucky their team was 'born again' (I'll put that politely) from the ashes of administration. They're luckier to have Rodgers managing them but probably feel now that they're too good for him.

Their relatively recent trip into the Premier has given them delusions of grandeur.  They'll always be a Division 2 side to me.

A bit like the Charlton fans who thought they'd out grown Curbishley.
