Didn’t get the Anderson love in last night. Watching back on TV he played better than I thought but lacks the nous of MGW and think he is a 8 playing in the 10!

He seems more willing to take a risk on the ball than MGW when he gets within 30 yards of the goal. MGW either takes time to set himself correctly or lays it off - that’s not a criticism but he almost seems to be too precise. 

Thankfully it’s not a competition between them as to who is the better player, we are fortunate to have both on our books and Anderson has shown that he is a more than competent number 10 if needed.

His influence has been amazing so far but it's only been 9 games so lets not get too carried away just yet. 

I think it is significantly more difficult to find an MGW or Wood than a top CB. We've seen in previous years how much better we've been just when Boly has been available, just sadly due to injuries/AFCON we didn't have him very much.

Surely milenkovic should have cost us double? Is it Cus he didn’t have the Brazilian tax or the British tax

The Serb should be our player of the season. He is a monster and Murillo listens to him and is less maverick.

Having said all this, how is MGW's injury coming along?

MGW was on the matchday pass video walking normally which is a start.

In terms of value for money Milenkovic is outstanding value. Best business of all however is to grow your own so thats Yates and Johnson.

Best signing overall has to be the player who has contributed the most to being where we are irrespective of cost and thats still MGW without whom Im pretty certain we would be back in a lower league.

Its more than just him that’s made the difference though. Anderson and Moreno for starters. Having better wide players to come on as subs and Morato to see games out.
Then Nuno has had a slimmed down and crucially settled squad to work with over the summer. Its a combination of many factors.

You know it's getting cold, so we know Palmer will win it despite Mbuemo/Wood more deserving of it.
