I think with Bournemouth having sacked the manager but picking up wins under woodgate and still being 6th in the table I feel this was a fair result. I think we definitely know what to expect from the rest of the Feb fixtures and can focus more on playing to win where as this seems to be playing and hope B’Mouth make a mistake.

2nd top scorers in the league could have played all day and drawn a blank. Great organisation defensively- still would like more from the full backs but they did their job today.

3 clean sheets in 4 games, Worrall adding a other 1m on his price tag today. I think it may well depend on whether we get the right offer as to whether we keep him.

Not worth it for him to go to someone like Burnley or WBA but if a safer team comes in it will be hard to keep him. Should get a similar fee to Cash though I guess

Worrall my MoM, but Figs had a cracking game today also. No-one played particularly poorly, but some were better than others and our backline today were very impressive overall!!

Swansea will be a different proposition on Wednesday though, but I think we can still get one over them now we are playing with more confidence and intent.

Usual twitter meltdown on subs but I agree with houghton today. We needed not to lose and we didn’t. We look solid and are getting some patterns of play.
Samba 7 nothing much to do but assured and came off his line well a few times
Christie 7 a much more conservative approach but defended well.
Bong 7 solid but unspectacular- a couple of good covering tackles
Figgs 8 I’ve been his biggest critic but very very good today
Worrall 9 immense
Cafu 6 OK solid
Garner 6 OK solid - should have short first time in first half
Knockeart- 6great engine but a bit greedy
Freeman 5 - neat and tidy but a bit unfit
Kronovic-6 great pressing from him and neat and tidy but needs to start doing a bit more for me
