Not at Championship level you dont. Any player who can defend well, be quick up the wing and put in a decent cross is PL bound. Hence Matty Cash although he has hardly been allowed to cross the half way line at Villa.

The formation did its job in the first half. Gareth should have changed it earlier and matched Italy’s 433 just after half time - how mount stayed on also alarmed me. Anyway all water under the bridge now…
