Nothing yet but they are on the crest of a wave after beating Fulham.

I’ll give you a clue how their forum will look on Friday though…..blah blah ….hate the scabs.. blah blah
3 games all of them will be tough but if we bring the form we were showing just last weekend when we smashed 5 in we have nothing to fear.

Thay game was 2 games ago. Since then weve played two, won none of them and looked bang average in both.

Not sure there's too much to read into today's game, completely different team!

I dunno Wassy. We seem to have an all one team attitude atm.

Hopefully I'll be a bit more positive in a day or two.

I get it to a point but teams are always worse when they make 7 changes and its not even like we lost. So they would've known it would be tough to play at our normal level.

I think the come down from the Bournemouth defeat will be harder to shake off! Hopefully a nice routing of Sheff U next Saturday will get us back on track

There is a lot of defeatism on here, and has been since Bournemouth.

This time last week, we were world beaters.

This week we seem terrified of Sheffield Utd

Perhaps its reverse psychology and preparing ourselves for disappointment.

A lot of people also moaning about team selection and moaning at Cooper for getting it wrong but looking back the vast majority were stating that he should rest the key players.

Personally - whether it was Luton or Sheffield Utd, it was going to be tough. In many ways playing at their place likely to suit our style of play more than playing at Luton. And people saying they beat Fulham - yes - but they beat them at their place when Fulham had nothing to play for. We beat them at their place when they still had a title to win and beat them - which of those achievements is the more impressive?

Last week we were world beaters. This week, sadly not. The team fielded today should have had enough to beat that Hull side. They just didnt perform. Mighten, Silva, Zinc were all poor. Cafu tidy but ultimately ineffective.

I think you're right about preparing for disapointment. My missus is trying to look after my wellbeing by trying her best to keep me grounded. She rightly points out that Forest do tend to blow it in the end.

Exactly Sniff!

Just 8 months ago yesterday, a certain Steve Cooper was appointed manager of bottom club Nottingham Forest, with just 1 point on the board.

Fast forward those 8 months and we are 4th in the table, going in to the play offs against Sheffield United, after just missing out on automatic promotion just 2 games from the season finale.

If we win the play offs, obviously we will be ecstatic, but if we don't, at least we can look back on the final 39 games with massive pride at the achievements of Steve Cooper and the Forest squad. Yes there will be a lot of uncertainty around how we will do next season, especially with Spence, Lowe, Davies, Zinc and Garner all going back to their respective clubs and the additional uncertainty of whether we will hang on to Brennan and Worrall, BUT, we have Steve Cooper as our manager and he will know who to try and bring in, what players he will want and he WILL be heavily supported by Mr Marinakis. Players will want to come to us this year as we finished 4th in the league.

Lets enjoy the play offs and if we go up, happy days, if we don't, lets get behind our team again next season and we go again!

No need for any negativity, we gave the autos a shot out of nowhere, we didn't quite do it, gave everyone a deserved rest ahead of next week. No issues. We are in a great place going in to the playoffs.
