Truly gutted for MGW.
I’ll admit I was so frustrated by how he was performing at the start of the season, but he’s been incredible for few months, performed better than any other Englishman in the premier league and deserves to go.
Tuchel is a stubborn, biased fool for not taking him.

Even if he'd gone he would never have stepped one foot on the pitch anyway. Hes better off on his hols with his family. Tuchel just doesnt rate him, that's been clear for some time now.

Yeah, confirmed no MGW. Utter joke.
Wasn't much interested in this World Cup anyway because of where it is and even less so now.
Delighted for Anderson of course. Is this our first England player in a World Cup squad since Pearce in 1990?

Gutted for Morgan. And a terrible message for the youngsters, but an unfortunate reality in life. People have their favourites and life ain’t fair.

This season MGW in the premier league has an average percentage of 0.54 goal contributions every 90 minutes which puts him in the 94th percentile of all premier league players for that metric. He is also 8th for distance covered in the premier league. So he has made those goal contributions without hanging about in the penalty area like Chris Wood did last season. Eze has a 0.43 % average goal contributions every 90 minutes in the premier league this season which puts him in the 88th percentile of all premier league players despite covering significantly less distance than MGW. Jarrod Bowen has an average of 0.49 goal contributions every 90 mins which puts him in the 90th percentile. Madueke has an average of 0.24 % goal contributions in the premier league this season which puts himin the 64th percentile. The two Arsenal players get in the world squad and MGW and Bowen despite having lower percentage of goal contributions and playing for the league champions who have scored considerably more goals than Forest and West Ham. MGW has the added benefit of being able to play in central midfield as well as 10 and from the left and right. He is more flexible in a 26 man squad than Eze. There is no logic to those selections and omissions.
