11 points

All going to plan so far Sabricadabra.

Still on track for this albeit two results the wrong way round, be great if we could win and push above this though!

We've come through 3 away games in the space of 7 days, that isn't easy.

I am delighted with 4 points from Stoke and Blackburn.

I suppose it's a sign of how far we have come in such a short space of time that some are disappointed.

Yep, it is. Blackburn were so beatable last night though. A win on Saturday rounds off a brilliant fortnight.

The fact is that everyone is beatable in this league and everyone is capable of getting beat.

We are not setting the league on fire but we are a very tough team to beat and that is a great foundation to build on for the rest of the season. My glass is definitely half full.

I think we need a performance and a win in the next game as the poor performances are becoming the norm and we can't go on playing like this and taking points. So a confidence boost is needed.

I will have to disagree  :)

Points on the board breeds confidence not so much the performances.

I also disagree, losing on Sat or playing badly will not kill off the season.

It obviously will be much better if we win, but we must remember we are in the Championship not the Prem League. You don't have to win every game.

This season we are going to drop some points, lets stay positive, we are in a good position, much better than previous years.

Who wouldn’t have taken being a couple of points from top after 10 games?

Good post.

My fear is the inevitable wrist slitting when we have a bad run of results.

Ok I’m not saying end of world stuff if we lose or carry on the way we are what I was saying is I think we need a performance game rather than an ok performance and take the points game. There is only so long you can be lucky and you can dig deep with effort. Time and time again we have managed to get something even though we are not playing well and yes you think we got a point there but the boys need to remember they do have another level they can reach and another level after that. SL will be wanting more from them and I think doing it before the international break is the perfect time as they will have longer to reflect and enjoy the performance rather than bang straight into the next game. This increases your physiological confidence quicker and higher than a phew we were lucky there to get a point or win. The risk is if we don’t have the performance game is then players will dwell on their own performance and go into games think it’s only a matter of time until we can’t come back compared to the thought of we have shown we can perform so let’s go do it again and win.

I think getting minutes into Carvalho's legs after he missed most of pre season and getting Joe Lolley fully fit because he is playing with a toe injury now are key.

I think so too, certainly in Lolley's case anyway.
