Didn't Spurs try and sign Eze after moving onto him following MGW staying with us? It sounded at the time that they got closer to Eze than they did yesterday

Spurs actually had the best away record in the PL until yesterday. Their home record is very poor though - only better than Wolves, having 5 points from 6 matches, which may explain why the fans at home aren’t happy campers.

That was partly due to playing Leeds, West Ham and Everton away. Did include that impressive win at City too though.

Really poor effort from Man Utd against 10 man Everton to lose 1-0. Their manchild coach seemed to think 5 at the back was the way to go. If he remains in charge we finish above Man Utd this season.

It's not an excuse because I don't want to defend them but that type of team and coach against a 10 man David Moyes team is probably their worst nightmare.
The league is pretty much wide open this year and I like it.

Agreed TPT the league would appear the most open for many a year which is great for the game. Look a Villa 4 weeks ago and today, anybody on a good run in the next few months will be close to the top of the tree, CL places up for grabs to most.

It looks like a graveyard for players' careers. They're not just having a bit of a mini crisis like Liverpool currently are, or Man City were last season, they're in a generational slump that will probably take years to rectify. Every time I see them I'm amazed at how far they've fallen from the Fergie sides.

They were on the decline before Ferguson left. That last title win of his was miraculous.
