How many bids did we have rejected for McKenna before we finally got it over the line? Him on Soh are the only players we have signed for money recently. It looks us 18 months to land McKenna, what about the derisory bids for McGinn and Watkins? Valued between them at 90m now.

Why would anyone want him to feel wanted. He was for most part of the season crap. Not even another Championship club came in for him. The performance he gave at at Preston last season was one of if not the worst performance I have ever seen from any left back ever in a red shirt. He's gone and he was for the most part S**t so can we all get over it.

A new left back will be signing soon enough.

Unfortunately we got too many bad deals over the line which is now impacting on what we can afford this time. The disaster of the Arter deal is looking like one of the worst we have ever done if the rumours about the transfer fee and wages are correct. We cannot afford another one of them.

Looks like that at the moment because the current manager has ostracised him. If CH is replaced, Arter could well become a valued member of the squad again, just like Watson did, just like Danny Fox did. I'm sure there are more.

He was playing international football last season. He cant be that bad.
