What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy

Could this be our new strategy in evidence?

SA.

Only on loan isn't he?

Think we need young talent, but young talent which will eventually blossom into a great Forest player, not a great player for another club.

Correct Alf and certainly Watford had no option to buy him so doubt we will either.
For this type of loan it benefits us if we get a player who is developing and currently already good for Championship level with a view to PL next season. What we dont need is someone who is totally raw and only gets to grips with the league and its physicality after a long run of games. I assume CH has done his homework on Garner though. Maybe what we are seeing overall is a realisation we need to get more energy and movement in central midfield with both Garner and Krovinovic being younger players.

I think that is the most heartening part of this window.

So Hughton has brought in younger ball playing players to address the imbalance of the Summer transfer window.

Only 3 of his choosing so far. And I like what I've seen of Knocker and Krono so far. I hope Garner performs as his resume promises.

Still a bit to go, but so far this window already absolutely obliterates the abysmal January window last year.

Yup. Quality players who know the league and have had relative success in it.

What I like about the Garner signing. He's captained England to a semi final.

Leadership. Can't have enough of it.

I think Hughton recognises we are short in the defensive middle, desperately so without Yates and Sow.

Just look at the contribution of Cafu and Boucherou yesterday once Sow had gone off; almost non existent.

Krovinovic looks fairly useful and a good signing; maybe now we have someone who can pick a pass we will see Mighten and Knockheart to better effect

Let's hope so Jean.

Anybody who had any doubts as to what Yates and Sow brought to our defensive centre can see just how 'well' Cafu and Bach did. :0

I hope our link with the Fulham cm has something to it. Even if it's short term like Murray.

24m worth of academy players sold in the past 2 seasons.

Desperate for investment to stay up.

£0 invested in a key window.

Alf tell me one club who has invested serious money in this window in the whole country.

Have you seen what is going on in the world?

There was no way on earth that we could keep Matty Cash at the football club once a PL team came knocking and his head was turned. The lad wants to play in the PL, he wants to play at the highrest level possible, how could we have prevented that?

Plus getting 7M for Appiah is looking like great business, what has he achieved since he left?
