More rational and civilised than Millwall fans.

Swansea Fans match comments.....
Good luck to CH and also young Cullen. Really hope he can bag 1 or 2. Hourihane already on set pieces, you love to see it. Be interesting to see where the goals will come from first half Well in Liam son! Seeing the quality of Hourihane’s set pieces, it’s like having Gylfi back. Bong is out of puff already Wow Matt Grimes take a bow Hourihane fkin quality 2-0 Grimes He has tried that a few times this season, hopefully that'll give him the confidence to keep doing it I can't see us scoring any more, we rarely do. Truth be told, we are taking the piss. Interesting quote from Forest fans site. "Cullen looks like Teddy Shringham and sort of plays like him too." Jenkinson does enjoy a comical slip against us, doesn’t he?! chirst we are some side. how much do they want for hoorahan?!! Very impressive first half. Keep it going, boys, and no more injuries, please. Pitch is cutting up, understandable given the weather you poor buggers have had lately. Just remember we haven't scored more than 2 in a game this season poor defending there Suicide defending!! We need to quicken the pace otherwise I can see them scoring again. Pen? Dreadful cheating If that had been given against us I would be fuming! Cracking dive from Manning! It was a trip, it was in the area. Penalty. No foul Manning dived ... outside the box Take the goal but... Got to be honest that pen looked very cheap, i'll take it none the less. We are a lot more streetwise now than we ever have been, at least in my memory. Manning felt the contact and went down. Clubs have been doing that to us for years and we have always been too honest to take advantage ourselves. I'll take that every day of the week. Good job there’s no VAR. Manning would have had a yellow and no pen if there had been. Lovely football! Boom 4-1 It's a rout now I'm trying not to get excited about this team but it seems I'm losing that battle. Nor do I, but as others have pointed out we’ve been on the wrong side of plenty of similar incidents. Besides, I have zero sympathy for Florist. We must not forget Forest beat the best team in Europe in the last round so they must be a fantastic team. Oli Cooper 5-1 WE WANT 10 Heck of a good result lads. Really outplayed them. Truly excellent. Now we can get revenge on those blue arseholes!! Can’t underestimate that performance Despite the changes a strong, expensive Forest side taken apart and it could have been more. Cullen excellent, Grimes with a superb goal and overall the most intent we’ve seen attacking wise since Cooper came in. First time we’ve scored more than four under Cooper and first time we’ve scored more than two this season. Notable mentions to have Bennett back and Manning for an overall strong display. Don’t have a pop at him for the dive, this is the more streetwise Swansea City, more than I’ve ever known us to be. Not great when you’re on the other side, but just take it for the ones we’ve not had. Forest must have beaten a right pile of shite to make it through to be annihilated by a classy team today. It's a weird feeling dispatching teams with minimal fuss. Great performance and brilliant to see the youngsters come in with no fear, full of confidence. Fantastic performance today, well done everyone involved. Never a bloody pen though. Nottingham Forest manager Chris Hughton was unhappy with his side's first-half display in this afternoon's 5-1 defeat at Swansea City. The Reds were knocked out of the competition at the fourth-round stage on a chastening afternoon at the Liberty Stadium and Hughton was left to rue his side's poor first-half performance as well as a controversial penalty decision from referee Kevin Friend in the second half. Speaking after the game, he said: "It was a very disappointing afternoon for us. We conceded a very poor first goal which gave them the impetus they needed and we were simply not good enough in that first half. It took until the second half for us to change the way we played and change the attitude and then we were in the game. At 2-1 we were right in the contest and I felt like we could really push on from there. "I thought it was an awful decision for the penalty from the referee and it changed the mood of the game. We weren't good enough from that point onwards to recover from that disappointment and turn the game around in our favour. I've seen replays from all different angles of the penalty decision and there's not one where I thought it was a penalty and in fact, a lot of us were expecting the lad to be booked for simulation. "We were up against a side who were in confident mood because of where they are in the league and I thought we should have worked much harder in the first half. We found it difficult to get out at times but we should have stopped them playing as much as they did and I just felt we needed much more energy from the team in that first half. "If you're away from home against a confident side and you don't think you can be as good as them as a footballing side, then you have to work hard to nullify them and we didn't do that. It's about the fundamentals in a game like this and if you don't do them right, you concede goals like we did and then you get punished. "The most important thing for us at the moment is that it doesn't affect our league matches moving forwards. Today we wanted to progress to the next round of the FA Cup but we never gave ourselves the opportunity to do that and now we have to make sure that we bounce back at home next weekend." Chris you was outclassed today show some class mate you probably taught we played the best team in wales (because you read wales online) but we showed you today not with multi million pound players but lads like Liam Cullen who bleeds Swansea city . Not so worried about Ayews impending exit if we don’t go up now . Martin o neal could not save forest and the side was a lot better under him anyway Swansea oh Swansea oh Swansea oh city said I.

An interesting set of comments from the Barnley fans:
Wow. How have they not scored there? Forest have had the best 2 chances so far. Why do Forest have their big screens on? In case fans miss summat? Or to remind ref he’s crap at his job? They should be at least 2 up Forest always seem to hammer us at their place. They should be three up. Got to say, they’re a better team than Cardiff.... but again a set of big lads. Regulation win coming for Forest second half. Just nipping out. That shot from Mowatt just landed in my backyard. The fact is that this type of football is tolerable, just about, when you are winning. When you stop winning it's pretty dreadful Gi'oer- never a penalty that one. Well that was a lovely dive over the defenders knee by Woodrow. 5.9. Can’t see us getting anything out of this game. They still look more likely. Good away point. We’d have lost that last season. Happy with a point, only really had one chance, they should’ve been out of sight at half time. Don’t think we’d have scored if we’d have played all night... I'm happy enough with a point. Much better 2nd half performance. At least their pitch made ours look good! Certainly not the prettiest game of football(!) But, putting my optimistic hat on, a point away from home should never be sniffed at, neither should our first clean sheet in the league for quite a while. At least Forest try to play football.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

And those are the positives we should take out of yesterday's performance.

We might "try to play football" but we are mostly trying and failing....

Now Hughton has actually brought in two his own...younger ball playing players we may see things will improve.
I thought the two Hughton signings did well yesterday. SA.

Coventry Fans Pre Match Comments....
Probably be the same line up worries me the fact this will be their 3rd game in 6 days, robins needed to use the squad better today I feel,it’s a game we can win if we struggle it will probably be - “there was a lot of tired legs out there” not sure what the obvious change tho probably a case of using the changes earlier,Jamie Allen deserves a chance. Cant afford to lose this one. Another 1-1. Would love a win here. They were awful when we played them at their place. ...and they still got the 3 points - they probably fancy their chances too. Jack Colback was pure unrefined gash Yep they should give us the points like we gave them theirs. Quid pro quo We got Sheff Weds back for the 3 points they mugged us off with at theirs, rinse and repeat Biamou to come full circle and play a perfect through ball for a 97 minute winner... at the right end. I think providing everyone recovers well we probably have to go with same xi - missed it but why was Fadz not in squad today? I still would be tempted to give Baka a go for Biamou if not from the off then later in the game. A win here would be massive but can see another draw. 0-0. I fancy us to win this one. 1-0 Would like to see Shipley from the start and Baka in for Biamou Jamie Allen must be well pissed off at the moment with Shipley being bought on ahead of him yesterday, unless Robins has already promised him a start against Forest? We have won 100% of the league games that Shipley has played 90 minutes in. No coincidence Didn't know Forest had got James Garner form Man United on loan. There were rumours we were after him before Watford took him. Thought he was doing OK there had rave reviews after there first few games I think he is still at Watford? he was on the bench for them midweek against Millwall, unless he was recalled by United and since gone to Forest? Edit: Just checked and he was recalled by United due to not getting game time after Watford changed manager's. This is the toughest of the 3. Did not think we got to grips with Birmingham in the way we did Sheff.Wed. Forest are the better of the three, have a good manager changing their fortunes and have plenty of the ball in their games. Scoring has been their issue and I hope that continues. We will need to be better than yesterday and that may be difficult because there were plenty of tired legs yesterday. Can he rest anyone? Certainly Allen deserves a spot and I would like Mcfazdean back in. Revert to our normal formation of 3/5 at the back, Allen the extra man in an attacking midfield and put Max (who is carrying an injury) on the bench. Expecting a draw but could be anything. I am expecting changes for Tuesday. There will be few with knocks and a few weary legs too. Hopefully a cameo from Walker on 80 mins to score against his old team On that note, who was the last player to score for us against his former club? It always seems to be the other way around with us They were absolutely dreadful yesterday, offered next to nothing all game, you wouldn’t believe they’re scraping for their lives. Surprised it ended 0-0 based on what I saw Also looked like they should've had at least one I dont think we will win 3-0 but I am predicting it because we could be surprised Bring our shooting boots and cut out the penalty fetish and I back us to win, 1-0 or 2-1.
