Yeah, that’s what I think whenever I see your Unconstructive posts. I put my neck on line, maybe negative, but to me realistic and as I always say I hate to be proven right. The club finished where I predicted (and continued to predict). I didn’t want to end up where we did, but it’s reality.

Well Mowatt was classed as useless as he plays for Barnsley. I wonder what happened to them and how bad a season mowatt had. That’s the sort of responses I get from the likes of you and zicorice. Love your red coloured lenses, but you don’t make good player judges.

Already said, let’s have a bet, sever costs, I don’t think ch will get us promoted next season, even with his unbelievable track record. 

And I would be happy, if we played nicer attacking football, giving it a go. Not relying on players on their last contract. Young and hungry players who put in a shift playing to a plan to put the opposition on the back foot. I can buy into that, I can get behind it and happy to give managers time to get it right if the signs on the pitch look good and the manager can get the best out of the squad he has. 

Not sure I have seen that this season, dour performances, unmotivated players and a lack of desire to win. 

I keep talking about statistics of 29% win rate, that is based on actual results. Not a stat it’s an outcome. 
We finished a poor 17th. Top goal scorer 6 goals. Second top scorer was own goals. Overall goals. 

I had a thread last season saying we needed more goals, pace and creativity, we didn’t get that. Will we this summer?

Not just my glasses that are red. My whole being is red and white and always will be.

Your assumption that I don't make a good judge of a player is based on what?  Was it because I don't turn on our academy lads as they navigate through  the J curve of embarking on first team careers? Is it because I rate what Yates brings to the team? Is it because I stated Cash is tailor made to be a top modern full back. Could it be that I predict a very bright future for Mighten. Or could it be that I was sceptical about Freeman and Arter in particular? When I used to work for Forest many moons ago the first player I was responsible for joining our academy (having watched him as a 12 year old) went on to make the 1st team eventually- played over 20 times before being sold on.

I also had the opportunity to coach a young bunch of players that included James Perch and Michael Dawson. I felt they would both make the grade. Both had pretty decent careers.

Easy to pick out when I was right isn't it?

On the other hand, I was delighted we signed Taylor (still hoping he will be that player who tore us apart for Charlton) and in his first season I really enjoyed watching Carvalho. I thought, and still believe Colback has something significant to offer, injury permitting.

As for non Forest players. I don't pay too much attention until they play against us (or occasionally Vs Sheep on TV) and I always thought Mowatt was an OK player, not quite the second coming of Messi though.

I fully expect us to finish top half next season if Hughton is given the full season and we have a reasonable summer. 

If one of our strikers can find even average form, then we will be fine. As Cloughie would no doubt say, none of our 3 centre forwards has done the job they are paid to do. That has been our biggest achilles heel in many games. Missed chances.

Its convenient to try and cement the point of his argument Wassy.

As i put in another post, the side could generate more points throughout the season on a lower win rate, dependent on the draws and defeats rates. 

As you stated, points per game is more important that a win %

Proof of this is comparing Forest to Bristol City. Bristol won 15 games to our 12, which makes them have a better win %age. However, couple their 15 wins with only 6 draws and 25 defeats and that completely cancels out the win %age as they finished the season on 51 points and in 19th position, with one point less than us (W12, D16, L18) who finished in 17th position
