From 15 new arrivals, Mckenna Freeman and Knockaert are better than what we had. The rest are not.

Taylor is better than the backup strikers we had previously.

Colback is better than brennon Johnson (who was the only CM left)

Christie/Arter have been disappointing so far though.

Depth is required, we had to replace a number of players that left for various reasons too. Everyone agreed we had no depth last year.

Except Freeman - thus far - doesn’t look like an upgrade on Silva.

Disagree, made decent signings on paper albeit more than necessary. A lot of these players are ones that people have wanted for a while like Freeman and Mckenna.

You’ve been saying this for a while but there’s nothing to back it up.

Quantity over quality was not what was needed on a team that finished 7th.

I can't explain the S**t performances and results.

The players, especially those brought in during the last window, are nowhere near as good as made out, barring McKenna, Knockaert and potentially Freeman.

I still have hopes for Bachirou and Soh but short term we need players that deliver week in week out consistently at Championship level.

But we are weaker than last years 1st eleven

We miss Cash
We miss Ribeiro
We miss Watson
We miss an in form Grabban
We miss an injury free Lolley
We miss Worrall
Never thought I would say it we even miss Silva.

Totally agree with Salv on this.

You can even throw in there missing a pre-lockdown Sow.

It's an absolute mess & mish-mash of players & ideas. We still lack pace & energy etc. Hughton's gonna need some time to piece it all together.

I did like Silva, also a very in form Sow to add to Salvatore's list, I liked Jack Robinson as well .. even Diakhaby would of probably been up for a motm award after today's absolute shocker
