Fans pay there hard earned money to attend games and are entitled to do whatever they sit fit.
At least those fans are attending games.

If they are booing then it would be better if they were not attending.

Why??? We live in a democracy!!! 

It’s up to the players and managerial tactics to give us fans(that actually attend) something to get behind the lads and then to be able to cheer about. 
Us fans can only do so much, it’s up to the team to do the rest. 

And no I didn’t boo, but haven’t got a problem with anyone who has.

The team is chasing a play off spot and some fans chose to boo Murphy coming on when we know Grabban is struggling to recover from injury.
That has nothing to do with democracy.

Personally I don’t think anyone was booing Murphy coming on. That’s not in the slightest representation (to me) as to what happened.

The booing occurred because Grabban, a fan favourite, was coming off. We we supposed to be chasing the game but we’re taking our more mobile top scorer off and replacing him with an option that was going to make us more direct in what was already a complete sh*tsh*w visually to watch.

I can’t remember what manager it was under but I vividly remember games where the crowd were in open revolt to the football they were watching with chants of “We play on the floor, we’re Nottingham Forest, we play on the floor”.

Now that wasn’t booing but it was in reality no different.

The chanting of Carvalho’s name has been in existence since game one of Martin’s arrival. Again this is no different.

It wasn’t that long ago that we had opposition fan comments following most games saying how good we were and memories aren’t as short as people believe.

I suspect there is a view amongst some that the playoffs are gone so can we at least be entertained having t*ssed another season in the bin.

Martin’s stance post match is all well and good whilst results are positive but with that mentality the place will turn sour quickly when the first bad run comes along.

Way to help your team when you're 'two' points off promotion play offs.

I feel Murphy's goals (and Cash's 8!) have largely gone unsung. 

Last season, I felt without Murphy's goal tally we'd have been in the relegation zone before Aitor arrived.

He's been asked to lead the line more than he should at his age...because both Summer's transfer business for striker's wasn't progressive enough.  It hurt us last and this season.

It’s true it’s hard to distinguish booing in terms of the direction for the player so in that regard it’s probably unhelpful. (Although perhaps Murphy is the type of character inspired by this)

The play it on the floor chanting was cotterill I believe or maybe McLeish? (Probably both) it had a positive impact on the cotterill reign anyway!

Oh you’re right where would we be this season without Murphy’s 4 goals. Perhaps we should take a Day next week to celebrate each one (we can take Wednesday off...)
