That was my first thought. Why would you want to reveal your hand?

So what. They can stay unbeaten. A draw would do me fine.

Jeez, was just putting up some facts ahead of the game.

Not really, he’s terrible in their big games.

He was absolutely fantastic in the game with PSG last year that villa fans are all pinning hopes on that type of performance, only issue with that is Onana,Kamara and Rashford were unreal on the night will not be available tomorrow night.

Assume this means McGinn is playing then? He's their most important player. If he's not 100% that will definitely help our chances.

I thought I had read that Douglas Luiz might start.

Feeling very, very nervous for this. More so than I was for the Play Off final. I don’t think I ever expected to be in this position so it feels like such an unbelievable opportunity. Going to be a stressful wait followed by a stressful watch!

Looking forward to it. All pressure on Villa.

I think we will see lots of diving and rolling around by the Villa players, they will try to use home advantage and the fans to get on the officials backs.............all part of why Emery was so vocal about his want for Anderson to be red carded last week.

So be prepared for lots of Villa cheating and screaming from the fans to get our players booked, get free kicks and they will hope a one game late red card.

They will spoil it with this for sure, but they dont care, they only care about knocking us out however they can.

This is going to be a long day! Nice to see for tonight at least we have acquired a large fanbase in East London. Well more like the suburbs of Essex but you know what I mean.

Really! That's interesting as that's definite West Ham country. There always was a good relationship between us back in the Bobby Moore v Frank Wignall days. We were both regarded as proper football sides that were worth watching.

It's off the back of Villa resting everyone for the Spurs match.

Seems a bit surreal given some of the conversations on here during the bad old days that we're here potentially 90 minutes away from a European final.

Really hope we go for it early doors and try to grab a goal (similar to PSG last night). If we can start quickly like we did against Chelsea then we’ll ease some of the nerves
