Belgium played 4231 against Germany and Mangala was immense, I watched the game.

Was he one of the two or three?

Mangala is best at the base of the midfield, which is where he had his best game in a Forest shirt against Spurs in the Cup.

Coops seems not to fully trust him in that position in the league as he can be sloppy at times, giving the ball away in really dangerous areas. However when on his game he can be a real player.

Coops seems to have plumped for Freuler in that position and then latterly Shelvey. We all know the pros and cons either of those bring.

Shelvey and Freuler as part of 3 just don’t seem to work as they both want to be deep.

For me I think the best 3 would probably when all fit, would be Mangala, Yates and Kouyate or Freuler, Yates and Kouyate.

For me we can’t trust Shelvey in our current position, we need to revert back to what was getting us over a point a game.

Yates and Kouyate pencilled in, and then either Freuler or Mangala for me

Agree with this, Shelvey has not done enough so far and add to that has been very clumsy in defensive positions, which was particularly painful vs Everton.

Will be nice to have Kouyate and Yates back!

Being pedantic Omo didn’t make the Eire squad this time but he has 6 full caps at the ripe old age of 21 which is good going.

In addition to that list our current squad also has the following who have full international caps
Felipe
Dominguez
Wood
Origi

Plus out on loan
Dale Taylor
Hwang

Im not even going to bother looking if NFFC has had so many internationals before because it’s pretty obvious this is by far and away the most we have ever had.

Then subbed off. Thinking it's because they're 3-0 up and in control.
