100% agreed

We have 3 must win home games
Everton
Wolves
Southampton

Our other home games are
Newcastle
Brighton
Man Utd
Arsenal

Whilst we dont fear anyone at home we cannot rely on getting wins from any of those games. And if you are predicting more than a couple of away points you are more optimistic than me.

I've got a feeling we could get something against Newcastle, the rest of the bottom section is a flipping lottery.

I don't think i could take it coming down to Palace away last game of season. We need to amass those winnable home game points

You must be kidding?

Colback, Freuler and Shelvey at home to Everton?

If its accurate I assume its to match their "dogs of war" midfield. Plus having Serge back gives us a better balance both attacking and defensively.

Personally  I didn't think any of the midfield were the problem last week more that the front players and wide right we gave the ball away really cheaply.

Personally, whilst I am Jack and Freulers biggest advocates, I would probably have looked to play only one of them. Ideally, Yates comes in. But assuming he's not ready none of Mangala, Lingard, Danilo or Scarpinhio quite have the discipline/tackling ability when we are out of possession (yet in some cases as they adjust) so I can see the thinking. Ironically, LOB may have been ideal.

I just think it shows the importance of Yates.

All that said, the leak could be completely wrong, though it's usually spot on.

Very nervy time ahead today.

I like Jack I really do, he has been great for us, never lets us down, totally get why Cooper trusts him.

But surely when we have signed 29 new players and spent £200m we cannot be starting him at home to Everton in the Premier League? would think thats EM’s view too.

If the leak is the team it's very disappointing. Wood starting on the left of a front 3, again? Colback, Shelvey and Freuler as a midfield 3 at home, to a relegation rival, just seems so cautious. As always, will back Cooper and pray he has got it spot on.

Cautious at home.. against a relegation rival. Wood on the left? Fantastic

If he insists on playing wood then it’s got to be through the middle… anything else is just farcical. Win today and we are 7 clear and starting to pull away. Lose and it may well be the result that sends us down. So important.
