Well well well. What a result. Best performance of the season. Now we're orgnaised and tight the quality of the players is beginning to come through. Aurier and Kouyate look solid performers. Frueler dependable. And Yates just looks like a warrior going to war. Special mention to Awoniyi too. At last the team is set up to play to his strengths and he puts in a decent performance.

Taiwo was excellent off the ball, used his power to good effect. Nice to have an outlet, he definitely deserves to have a run starting now. We suddenly worked out how to pass too, everything was just more crisp.

I forgot how good this feeling is!

Big difference today was the out ball to the forwards was productive with Awoniyi and not Brennan. I dont want to beat Brennan up any more but his omission made a hugh difference.

I do agree but let's not oversell Taiwo. His hold up play was good but his goal was still a fluke again. You take it all day of course!  :giggle:

People might laugh at this but I have thought for a while teams like Liverpool will be looking at Yates to replace players like Henderson or Milner
Come on you mighty Reds

I just think he's one of those untidy kind of players. Looks like a daddy long legs in distress but is effective and gets something on it in the box. He should be chuffed with his performance. Today's the day his Forest career took off.

Not sure he has the technical ability but no denying his was fantastic again today. He's taken a step up since we switched to three in midfield and it's really helped us.

We looked the better team today, rode our luck a little at times but their keeper has made two massive saves.

Henderson save at the end was brilliant too.

Felt like a much more cohesive performance.

Liked the way the players were hugging each other when the subs were made …
Here we go.....

Wow- that was great today. We wanted it more. Yates and Kouyate were immense and special mention to Lingard who ran his bollocks off again.
The playing out was so much better and we had a great move first half. Klopp is a right year - ungracious in defeat. Their midfield was powder puff and Tiawo had Gomez on toast.
Their best chances came from set pieces yet Klopp was moaning that is all the danger we possessed.
The fans were magnificent from start to finish - didn’t hear Liverpool once.
The belief is back - we look like a team with more to come.

A good day!

Best performance of the season by a mile. Everyone was an 8, Yates and Kouyate at least 9s.
Also Special mentions to Aurier and Lingard who really looked the part.
Great save at the end by Henderson although Im sure had it gone in we would have had a case for Alisson doing a wrestling manoeuvre on Yates.
What on earth was Cook doing on the right wing to put in a perfect cross?!
Lets hope this is the turning point.
