We just don’t have the players in my opinion. I have always defended our players with red tinted spectacles but can’t anymore.

Yates not good enough
Colback- spent force and was limited anyway
Grabban - finished
Taylor - league 1 journeyman who had a purple patch due to being able to take pens
Figs- shocking and doesn’t even look like he wants to be here
Samba- labouring - slow and frustrating in possession - cost us points in all three games

Also the 4231 is so predictable and Johnson is not a 10 - needs to play wide forward IMO.

Can’t comment on last night but Bournemouth against 10 men the manager seemed stubborn and inflexible.

I agree with all the above apart from the but about Samba being slow in possession as this isn't an issue, he has made mistakes in all three games though.

Would love us to try and play 343 with cannon/Gabriel/tutu/ new lb as wide midfielders and Johnson and zinc as wide forwards

or 3142 with a sitter / bit more cover and maybe Johnson and Taylor up too

We haven’t got the centre backs to play that system though

So to be clear you want him to play a formation with a bunch of players we either don't have or are injured, also acknowledging we don't have the players to play that system?

Forest fans don't ask for much do they  :D

Can they stick a flake on top of that as well for me ….

?? Just reinforcing the fact that our recruitment hasn’t been good enough ?

Oh right in which case yes I agree completely.

Out. Last night was a shambles, 11 players on the pitch without a clue what they were doing.

Also, last season we finished on 52 points and we are already -7 this season based on the equivalent fixtures.

I did.

Scott Dobie would get in this team and Andy Melville is probably better than Figs.

I can definitely understand/ see the similarities to GMs time albeit CH is a classier individual.

Hang on unless I misunderstand you are blaming Hughton yet saying crap like Melville and Dobie would get in our current team? 2 relegation standard players in any era, and they are better than what we have? In which case what chance has any manger got.

I am worried though, without reinforcements this team looks very weak to me. Lets hope whoever we bring in is better than Paul Evans and Neil Harris.

How ironic the keep him in percentage of 25% is the same as his win percentage at Forest.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR  :)

Got to say in at the moment. Let the recruitment team and CH hopefully get the players they want. If no improvement by October then he has to go

I was being a bit flippant to be honest although I do think a Dobie style player would fit our current setup better than either Taylor or Grabban.

I’m not sure I’m blaming Hughton? My view is he should be getting more out of what he’s got, it’s more “constructive criticism”

I'm IN, let them finish the recruitment for this window and see what he does with the correct types of players for the correct roles.
