Ange

Percy often gets given info early to gauge supporter opinion. Happened under Cooper with Benitez a couple of seasons ago. I think Dyche is an inevitability now

Don't tease me about Cooper.

What an absolute mess. Sean Dyche?

What are the club playing at.

Dyche would do well for a season and the place would be positive again. We'd be hard to beat.

He would end up suffering the same fate as Cooper and Nuno though as people wouldn't be happy with the results alone and want us to look like Arsenal.

Percy didn't write the article about Dyche.

However I would be in favour of Dyche coming in IF he would accept a short term deal.

Both Glasner and Silva will probably be available in the summer.

So Dyche until then I think would be a smart move.

But would Dyche accept those terms?

The article is attributed to Dam Wallace and John Percy.

Definitely a feeler article to gauge the fan's reactions. Pity there wasn't such an article before Ange 2as appointed.

Dyche would want a 3 year contract and it’s unlikely he takes it if he thinks EM will spend the summer twerking for Silva. If you want an interim manager which is a risky move then Rafa is probably your man.

Im staggered how many people think we have suddenly become too good for Dyche. Agree it was a feeler article.

Its come from sam wallace and percy so its very well source,  maybe a push to get ange to quit.

Why on earth do you think Ange would quit and not wait for a sacking and a pay out?
Its testing the water to see if fans would be positive about Dyche, they mostly are reasonable from whats online but I sincerely hope the powers that be don’t take too much notice of social media in general.

Really don't know what to think about Dyche being our manager.

On the positive side he's a good fire fighter who extracts the maximum out of average players. All the players know what's required of them and I sense he fosters good vibes within the camp. There's the obvious Forest connection with him, Woan and Stone. His playing style will be much more akin to Nuno's and Chris Wood will no doubt be front and centre as he knows him so well.

Negatives are that his football might be considered to be a bit agricultural. We now have a squad of many nationalities and players with some real talent. Dyche will probably want to concentrate on a strong first 11 and the new players such as McAtee, Hutchinson and Luiz might be questioning their decisions to come as they get left out. MGW's flicks and tricks wont be tolerated and the emphasis will be the wingers slinging it into the box for Wood. Dyche has hardly any european competition experience, can he cope with that?

I honestly don't know what to think. But I do know that sticking with Ange isn't an option.

It's a romantic appointment, given the 3 of them have real connections with the club. Agree with Pap above, he's much closer to Nuno than Ange and whilst his Everton side wasn't great, he forged something at Burnley which was pretty incredible.
