Champions League - Europa League - Conference League
Goodness knows what frame of mind the players will be in given Taiwo's situation.

Not the best I wouldn’t have thought. Hope they can do it for him, given what he put himself through to try and help them.

If Forest finish 7th, we play a two-legged play-off in August for entry to the league phase of the Conference League. We go straight into the league phase of the Europa League instead if City win the Cup OR we finish 6th OR Chelsea finish 6th AND beat Real Betis in their final.

Didn’t realise the above potential route to Europa via Chelsea.

It will be 21st August and 28th August. The Play off. So pre season is just normal

16th August - First Prem game
21st August - Play off 1st Leg
24th August - 2nd Prem game
28th August - Play off 2nd leg.

Then First Group Stage game is 2nd October.

Hopefully it is Europa League or above but I don't mind Conference League gives us a taster and might not affect the PL season as much.

4 games in the first two weeks of the season is not ideal really is it? We're going to need players in early to accomodate that and rotate, and they're going to have to be right up to speed from the get-go. Hopefully we wont be playing Millwall in pre-season, that'll help.

This is the price of competing on four fronts, we just need to man up and get on with it, and ensure that we have a squad capable of doing so.

On the positive side we get a bye until round 3 of the EFL cup so it would only be 1 extra game.

Pretty sure with the investment into the team this summer, we could compete well.

Agreed Reds.

Just look at the two finalists this season.

Europa League definitely appeals to me.

Plus if you win it you're in the CL anyway.

Come on City on Saturday...

It’s staggering how many Forest fans don’t seem to realise that a City win on Saturday means we play in the Europa League. Met another today who was trying to wind up a colleague who is a City fan and gleefully telling him they would lose to Palace. He was baffled as I explained to him it would be far preferable if City win. Bloke was a season ticket holder too.

The man city of a year ago or two would win this. But palace have pace and will cause that team real problems. I hope for a man city win but this is the biggest game in palace's history and chance for them to win silverware . And I think they do it against this man city team. I hope I'm wrong

Many seem to have become obsessed with it.

How about we just weren't quiet good enough but we gave it a great shot and that deserves immense credit.

We are back in Europe and back on the football map.

We should all be proud of that.

This is how I have felt since the New Year. Fine with it although shame how it's ended from a morale point of view.

We are going to have a summer of instability now which is the last thing we need.

Lets see how it all pans out.
