I watched a bit of the u21s vs France, far more entertaining and got to watch Elliott who was decent but picked up a yellow. Lost 5-3 in a chaotic game, missed a pen too. I didn’t think Carsley was necessarily the answer when he had the senior team but at least he tried a few different and innovative things even if it didn’t always come off.
It was better than the Teutonic Southgate, predict England will do the usual cruise through qualifying and early rounds before capitulating to the first decent side they meet.
Anyhow Rayan Cherki was excellent for France, think he was mentioned for us before, think he is mainly another 10 though.

Rashford not really been involved recenty but Foden seems to start more or less every game despite always failing to deliver.
