I know this might sound a tad optimistic and this could come back to bite me but......
Although you would have to say Bong had an up and down game, I thought he showed some signs that there is a footballer in there. OK there were times where you shook your head thinking "basics youth" but..
In the last 15 mins when we seemed to have the upper hand, it felt we were more dangerous on the left than the right. Bongs cross for Ameobis header (great cross pi$$ poor header) was very good. He got forward well
I dont remember him getting beaten or being too much of a liability at the back.
Not saying he played well, weirdly curling ball out of play twice in quick succession, some poor control and some poor passing for starters.
But I reiterate, I think.there might be a player in there.
