What would we give for a comfortable win and a really good performance?

Rain forcast all day today. It might be a pudding of a pitch.

So what happens if we win and the performance is really unconvincing. Do we still stick with Dyche?

I think there's every possibility that we could scrape a scruffy 1-0 in a totally uninspiring performance. Dyche will come out and say it's all about the result, there's only one statistic that matters, there's no easy game in the prem <touches nose, wipes head> etc etc. But I cant see him getting sacked if we win. Draw, or worse, and I do believe he's a gonner. Especially with the news that Frank has gone. Spuds look like the only team we could finish above at this moment so if they get a bounce its not looking good.

Stick or Twist the reds? Is the big man a poker player? Some good managers out there, Spuds will be looking, do we move before them if not possibly get the lesser guy? This always assuming he dumps Dyche.

If the big man was to make a change it would have to be this week. We have a full week before Fenerbahce.

Whoever he might be tempted by, we're going to be second in the queue behind Spuds now unfortunately. And i really think EM wants Silva at the club when he can get him (for nowt) in the summer.

Ive really not seen any evidence Silva is our lord and saviour, always seems miserable to me. Fulham are well drilled, he has a settled squad which helps but they aren’t exciting. How long before we get the knives out for him too?

Agree with all that but he's an experienced prem manager now who's been around the block a few times. I understand EM had him at Oly but he didn't sack him, he left a few months before coming to England at Hull. I'd be more than satisfied with him to be honest. He wouldn't be a gamble, he'd be a safe pair of hands. He's out of contract in the summer so he would probably come in at the beginning of pre-season. Just what we'll need, a decent pre-season, time for a new manager to bed in and time to shape the squad before the football starts.

Totally agree Sal, I am not a Silva fan and I am not sure why most seem to want him here, done nothing to date, is it just his links with EM?

There are no good managers out there willing to take that job. We know this because our job has come available twice already and nobody good wanted it then either!

How do we know that Wassy? Ange was nailed on when Nuno was sacked (EM wanted him) so never open any other potential manager. I am sure Dyche was pushed by Owen/Randall while Edu wanted Manccini, so again never really opened up to any alternatives.

He is going to keep Dyche, especially when we win tonight. The main reason is that he is not bloody stupid. We are picking up points with some poor games thrown into the mix.
