Every time I see the PL table there is a line drawn under fourth place (CL places) and  fifth place (Europa League spot).

Are there no Conference League places up for grabs this season?

Yes there are. Top 7 or 8 should qualify.

Top 4 are champions league places, fa cup and league cup are europa league and 5th is conference league. If the cups are won by clubs in the top 4 then they are issued to league placing. The conference league place is for the highest league finisher that doesn’t qualify for champions league or europa league.

So simply put we need two of the top four to also win the domestic cups and that will open up Conference League places based on PL finishing position.

Yeah, if the cups are won by teams in the top 6 then 7th becomes the conference league place. Also we could get 5th champions league trophy place based on coefficient rankings which could make 8th conference league

Plus we want English sides to do well in Europe so we earn extra spots. It might only be one extra one available but that could be the difference.

Although we have exceeded expectations those early points were needed. Look at the run we have now until the end of December.

Nuno looked at that run and thought f#(k them we csn win most of those.

Lets just say he is loving life right now.

Ive got a mate who predicts we will win every game and truly believes we will win the league every year. Hes had years of watching us get battered by Scunthorpe and the rest and still comes out with it.
Lets just say he is loving life right now.

If we were to reel in the Scousers and win the thing, I'd have the cash to got to every European game home and away thanks to 1000 to 1 odds at start of season. We can dream....or hope Salah and Van Dyck pick up season ending injuries.,.

My superstitions are on overdrive. I have to predict a 2-0 loss every game in predictions league as well now. Been wearing same trainers, jumper and coat for 5 consecutive games.
