So why the criticism of the first half at QPR. We were away from home and they didn't have any decent opportunities to score. If not for the mistake we could easily have sneaked that game without playing that well. By the reckoning above you would have been happy with that. If so I do not understand why you are not applauding Sabri for getting us to finish in our highest position for many years. This was achieved after he inherited an unbalanced squad put together by different managers, one day before the first pre season friendly. If you don't like his style ,fair enough; but Hughton or Dyche will not give you anything more attractive to watch.

I want nothing more than Sabri to get it right. Our away performances were brilliant last year and there were a few home matches I really enjoyed. However, the implosion at the end of the season added to our last 2 outings have really got me worried. We haven’t scored a goal and barely looked like scoring. I get that on another day grabban gets a hat trick and for a spell after they scored we at least had a bit of urgency to go and get ourselves a goal but there was no patterns of play and ended up playing 424 and conceding again. His team selection was poor and I bet if the whole forum picked a side for Saturday not one would have picked that side.
I really hope I’m eating humble pie in a couple of weeks and ever the optimist I really think we have a more than decent squad. If he can get the football similar to Fulham away, Birmingham at home etc then I will be happier!

The problem is he seems stuck in this idea of defend from the start. Stuck playing too many defensive players home and away and prioritises this over scoring goals. This wasn’t the case pre January and I don’t know what changed.

Even our most attacking players are more concerned with defence. It’s almost like he is scared to allow them the freedom to attack.

Let’s hope he gets it right soon. There is a replacement waiting for if/when he doesn’t.

The sign of madness is repeating the same process and expecting a different outcome.

We have been generally poor since going back as far as the Leeds win in January.

You could argue that Sabri didn’t have the options and didn’t have the squad depth.Robinson

This summer he has been well backed, bringing in a number of proven players, along with a re-jig of his back room staff.

If Sabri keeps doing what he is / has been, there is only 1 outcome.

He needs to get on the front foot, release the shackles and get us going again.

On paper we have some favourable fixtures up to November.

A lot are saying the players need to wake up, Sabri defo needs to wake up

However I believe that we will end up with a Portuguese or Spanish manager.

I also believe it will be another foreign manager... however, there are rumblings that the next manager could be sourced the same way as some of our transfers.... championship experience
