Joao Carvalho
I see that someone reliable has put on another forum what I have been saying for months, that we didn't pay 13M for Carvalho.

Apologies accepted in advance :)

Possibly knows the same bloke who first told me because they both work in the same field (Finanace). Although the bloke who told me works in Football finance and also represents a few players as an agent. I never really had a problem to mention it because I knew it was true.

Fortunis has picked up a very serious injury at Olympiakos so I suppose that it's inevitable that the Carvalho to Oympiakos rumours will start again.

Probably not Reds but it probably won't stop the rumours. For the record Silva has done nothing at Olympiakos since he went there.

Silva wasn’t v good, that’s no surprise. Completely different kettle of fish to Carvalho who could perform if in a team with other talent.

But they were BOTH at Forest the season before last and Silva easily outperformed Carvalho.

I thought Silva adapted himself to the rigours of the championship well. He was half decent imo and would've had a big season if he'd been here last season under CH.

I agree Pap. I didn't see that much difference in terms of quality between Silva, when he was here and Krovinovic
