As others have said he deserves all the criticism coming his way, he is the captain of the ship, end of story!
That doesn’t mean people want him gone they want to see improvement which we ve not seen
But if all he sees, hears, reads is criticism, abuse and discontent then he'll bugger off. We've actually had that happen before not many years ago. The owner thought "bugger this why am I bothering", and we ended up with a clown as an owner.
I'd prefer to stick with EM rather than take my chances with the nut jobs and venture capitalists that are circulating around the sheep. At least we know EM is a football man, is worth a few quid, spends his own money and has a social conscience. We could do a lot lot worse.
I get what your saying Pap but sorry he deserves the criticism, the best way he could deal with it would be to improve things behind the scenes!! Who knows maybe that’s what’s starting to happen
Yes, as far as I can tell he's trying to do that! New faces, new way of recruiting etc etc. The only thing we wish he had done is sack the manager, and yet we've done nothing but criticise him for sacking managers over the last 4 years. We also wanted him to splash the cash in the window and yet we have previously criticised him for wasting money on players. Realistically, what more can the bloke do? Let's compare him to his peers. Mad Mel is the biggest chancer in football. The bloke who owns Sheff Wed looks dodgy. Who's the better owner out of the three of them? Even Gibson, the Boro guy, who is universally lauded as being a good owner, is stuck in the Championship. Venky's? Or the Arab who owns Sheff Utd? All own similarly sized clubs. Are these guys any better than EM? Not in my book.

Antonis has previously said the EM expected to be in Prem after 3 yrs.
Now we are in a dog fight just to stay in the League, and light years away from the Prem.
His biggest fault was putting his trust and backing in Vrentzos and Modesto.
Do you think he can get us into the Prem, and keep us there whilst delivering the re-development ?
Or do you think he’s decided enough is enough
I know that, in some respect, Marinakis' running of the club is a million miles away from Fawaz's - certainly in terms of paying bills on time, reputation with dealing with other clubs etc. However I do wonder if he shared a bit of Fawaz's naivety in how easy (or not as the case has been) to get out of the Championship. I mean, he's experienced pretty much constant success with Oly.
I think you're right, he might have thought getting a club like Forest back up from the 2nd division would be straightforward. A lot of football club owners have thought the same thing and become unstuck.
I'm amazed there's still this desire to buy championship clubs. They're absolute money pits. And if you do actually get one to the prem, all the money generated goes out again on transfer fees and in players' pockets. Unless you're the Glaziers and making an absolute killing by flogging a club brand like Man Utd, what's the point?
He took a bet on the former 'World Famous City Ground' and it hasn't payed off.
Yet.
I can understand why he took the the challenge on. No.1 in Greece. Throw some millions at a 2nd Division club. 'We'll pish it.'
If Forest get to the Premier (proving quite the challenge...due to poor timing and impatience...) then I believe that they have a brand that is stronger than Chelsea's or Man City.
Forest (as a brand) hang with Liverpool or Man U. And it is a heritage that was bestowed upon us by the Great Oak.

Correct and when he said it he had every right to say it because he had delivered on ALL of his business and community ventures up until that point.
Not sure why that is so hard for some to understand.

He's delivered £100 million of investment. I'd call that delivering.
He hasn't made any false promises.
Football takes a singular voice and THEN it takes time if the from the top to the fans ie. all the people are patient and pulling in one direction. Regrettably, that hasn't been the case. Something that Dale has rightfully picked up on. And it seems he's taking a longer term view to crack the City Ground nut.
So, yes, it is taking longer than they probably thought for lots reasons (which we've all analysed the crepe out of.)

great timing DT - not the first time...I mean at least wait for tomorrow when full negative / knifes are out unless we win.
I concede a icebath would be great upgrade though as I do them weekly :-)
Need some positivity tonight - fingers crossed.

Do you find they do actually 'shock' the body into healing itself? Almost like an emergency recovery reboot? There must be a reason why the players take ice baths.
ie. You find they make you feel better?
I guess you'd have to build up a tolerance to that eg. 30 sec, 1 min, 5 mins.
Just going into the swimming pool (and when the water level gets up to your crotch...) "******** hell..." (And I'm not one for swearing...)

It flushes the lymphatic system (even more-so if you do one straight out of a sauna) and with less "toxins" in the body it's able to heal itself quicker.
As part of my medical support treatment I do an infra-red sauna & contrast showers every other day (similar principle). It helps with the body pain tremendously.
The fact that we didn't have one is to me actually pretty scandalous, as it can mean players recover from injury far quicker (if they support it right with other bits & bobs too)

Agreed Sniffer and it makes perfect sense to anyone who understands the English Language.
