Wood may well surprise a few. Jonno can’t play as a 9 yet - maybe in a couple of years like Ollie Watkins. We were better today but Worrall was a liability. I like him but bloody hell he was poor and has been poor all pre season. Shelvey hard and shoulders better than horvath - and it was a perfectly good goal. Second half for 20 minutes we played further forward and looked better. I don’t want to see Danilo so isolated and he needs a run further back - he is not a 10! He needs to be trusted more. Our central defence needs improvement and can see why we have gone for Ibañez

We had a fair bit of luck but didn’t see a foul for our goal either.

Some positives without doubt but CBs worry me greatly and the usual not being able to hold the ball in midfield.

A bit more confident than I was about next week though.

Shelvey looks like he has a decent career ahead of him.

Considering the first 4 away games I'm not surprised the team is drilling deep, low block.
I'm not going to complain about the tactics, if they get the same results at Emirates, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and whatever Man City call their ground, I'll be delighted.

I thinks Danilo could play in the 2 CDM’s with Mangala he was played as a wide 10 today and looked lost , we have seen him hit first time pings from deep his passing range is so much better than Yates’y. If Sangare is signed its a toss up between him and Mangala for the 8 position.

Serge is not a wing back and a bit of a liability too don’t know what has happened to worral he seem to go to pot after a break .

Glad its not just me about Aina. Think there is a lot of the usual fans getting over excited about a new signing before seeing them in a proper game. Thought he got caught out of position a lot.

Another pathetic performance from us again today. What did we have to show for 90 minutes, 1 Danilo shot and McKenna's header? And people said Hughton's tactics were negative.

Also, what did Brennan do today? Answer, absolutely nothing. I think id be on the phone to Brentford to take their £35m if I were EM. Its like playing with ten men when he plays in Coopers setup.
