I haven't been able to get to any games since the Spurs game due to looking after unwell family. Possibly a good thing as the performances since have been poor.
The initial games under Dyche weren't too bad, played some decent football at times and beat Porto, Liverpool and Spurs along the way. Some games were also terrible, almost similar to last season. However, recently we've seen performances drop off the edge of a cliff, even in the win against West Ham we weren't great.
Marinakis wanted Edu in to head up his clubs, it wasn't out of the blue he signed, it had been on the cards for over a year and Nuno knew that. Nunos part in this shambolic season is throwing his toys out the pram, half arsing pre season and never being interested in staying with us after he didn't get a couple of his targets. He signed a 3 year deal knowing how our recruitment worked and knowing Edu was coming in to work above him.
Marinakis appointed Ange, going in a completely different direction football wise. Too big of a change too soon? After an amazing half against Betis, the following however many games were a train wreck. Poor set pieces, poor defending and not barley any goals. Marinakis gets rid after his poor decision to hire Ange in the first place.
Said a bit about Dyche already. Are the players buying into what he's doing now? Has he ran them too much in training? Does he work on attacking patterns of play? Have the set pieces improved in either box? The football certainly seems to be getting worse.
I'm not sure digging out players after the game on live TV was the best idea he's ever had. Rightly or wrongly players these days are a lot more precious and won't have taken that very well. It could cause him a lot more trouble. Think he also fell out with a few players at Everton.
What do we do now? Is the best case scenario just hoping we have enough to stay up this season then part ways in the summer? Personally, I don't think he's good enough for us, but not sure we've got much choice other than to stick with him for the rest of this season. Can he get us to perform like we did against Spurs when Sangare, Aina and a new striker come in?

McAtee drives me mad, clearly doesn't give a fig about Forest, why did he sign. Thank god MGW signed a new contract, imagine if we were relying on McAtee this season.
I always remember McAtee on Football Focus when playing for Sheffield United. He said he wants to play for Man City and playing Sheffield United was a way to get that. He didnt give a Sxxx about Sheffield United. He appears not to give a shxx about Forest either.
Stick with Sean.
And Sniff. You should know this. Sean recently had an operation on his nose. He was born with one nostril hole and it gives him problems.

And all this is down to the Big Man. It's his club. He has allow this to happen. No doubt he will sort it.
Bet he wishes he never went on the pitch to challenge Nuno now

I think we stick with, as you said with a new striker, Aina and Sangare there's a world where it clicks and we get some better results and things don't look as bad.
No-one on the forum has yet to suggest a realistic replacement. Man Utd are getting Ole, Chelsea got Rosenior and Wolves got Edwards. Thats what you get in January.

He signed Raheem Sterling on loan for Arsenal in a title race. That’s embarrassing.
What about the rest of the squad that he put together or don't they count?
Arsenal fans will always remember him for not signing a Striker whether or not he built a great squad.
They are pissing the PL and pissing the CL with Edu's squad.
That is the bigger picture not Stirling or a Striker.
Sorry Sniff but disagree in McAtee. Yes he was the U21 Captain but he was poor all tournament. Anderson, Elliott, Hackney, Livramento and Scott were the standouts and carried him.
Absolutely!

Only, he wasn't walking towards Nuno. It looked like he was heading to the officials and Nuno stopped him, I observed that on my way out.

One thing is for sure and that is when we win Dyche is the messiah and when we lose it's all Edu's fault.
Next time we win a game some will say where are all the Dyche haters now? Well, there are no Dyche haters. Just some who think he should be doing better.
Nobody will give any praise to Edu though when we win a couple or qualify for the next round of the EL.

I think everyone thinks we should be doing better we're just split on whether Dyche should be kept on until Silva is hopefully available and willing to take the job (unless by some miracle we won the Europa League). Or whether Dyche should be replaced now by some yet unnamed caretaker manager.
If Edu wants some praise, he needs to find us a striker to replace Wood.
