Discuss Daniel Taylor's Thoughts

Is the lack of an ice bath going to be the reason we get relegated?

He isnt if you read the article. It is a balanced broadside on the running of the entire club.

The points are valid in my opinion. Doesnt mean I want the owners out, I would just like them to run the club efficiently.

Yes, it's a very long article so I agree that he attacks the whole club but if you read through his previous articles as well there is a clear finger pointing at Vrentzos. You can clearly see that many fans have bought into this and Vrentzos is now perceived as the main reason for us losing football matches. I don't understand it to be honest.

If he really wants to do the fan base a favour why doesn't he do some digging into a few of the transfers that have taken place over the last few years? Eg. find out what the agents involvements were, why they appear for 6 months and then disappear, speak to his contacts at other clubs to find out how Forest conduct their transfer business. Find out what was the reason the mysterious new acaemy land purchase fell through. Stories like that would be far more useful and relevant to the success of the club than writing trivial stories about a bloke in a car stuck in traffic and other stuff picked up off twitter.

He's put me on a right f-ing downer now. I was getting up for tonight's game as well after hearing Wozza be all positive this morning.

Agreed, the story behind those would be interesting to know.

It's OK - I'm sure the performance and result later will cheer you up.  :D

Spot on.

It’s amazing how much of an emotional response these articles cause.

People who keep going on about broken promises.

Can someone please write me a list of all the things that EM has promised?

I am intrigued as I genuinely don't know.

I had all day, all the way up till 7.45 to feel positive about Forest and he's taken that away now. I now feel on a downer and it'll only get worse later!

If we get beat tonight I'm going to have to take a short break from the forum I reckon. Reading all the negativity really gets me down. I watched a stream of West Brom Derby last night thinking it would be something positive in my football world and then sheep got a point despite being mullered for 95 minutes! Arggh, I cant even go and read their forum for my light entertainment now.

Not so much EM as Randall & Ventzos. Personally I think stating this.........

.......then employing 4 attritional managers for 3.5 of the 4 years they've been here is a significant broken promise tbh.

Even watching Lamouchi's relatively successful side was a real chore at times at home games.

It's quite an eye opener.

No it's not. It's just the same criticisms turned over and over again. Nothing new in there apart from an irrelevant story about an ice bath being delayed and some bloke in a car going to buy ice and being held up (both of which incidentally will have happened under Dane Murphy's tenure).

And there's a mention of EM trying to buy The Guardian, which is written in a way to diminish him and make out he's some kind of uneducated Fawaz type.

Other than that it's just more twitter gossip.

I've said this before on here about Taylor. There's a a game tonight that we really could do with winning. If he's such a big Forest fan why's this story being released today. In what way will that be helping the players get a result later? Absolutely none.

Agree there, definitely an agenda to push these guys out it seems.

Taylor is a lifelong Forest fan. He wants us to prosper like the rest of us. We are deteriorating. Taylor thinks Vrentzos and others mismanagement is a big reason. Taylor is annoyed that big promises are made and have not been delivered. He also criticised Fawaz the same way. In my opinion it is not personal and I am grateful for him shedding light on the bull S**t.
