The No.1 for me
Finally, some continuity at Forest as we start the season with the same manager as started the previous one
Fully understandable but as long as you keep an open mind of the possibility of something good to come then I'm happy at least :D
Interesting everyone agrees on this as I think there are quite a few very close to getting off the fence or already way over it was Sabri sadly.
I'm happy to give him the season as long as we're not going down personally
Going down - where did that come from?
Probably being bottom of the form guide since January. Not that I actually think we will be anywhere near that fight.

Is there an alternative where us moaning gits can spill our guts over how pessimistic we are for the next season. I do it entirely under the pretense of reverse psychology.
And this is Forest. I start panicking when I get hopeful and optimistic

Not a chance. Forest were never bottom of the form table.

Do some research gari for points taken since the 1st of Feb you'll find forest bottom, taking fewer points in that tile than anybody else.

I always do that Karanka. From the first of Feb Forest are placed in 16th place with 19 points.

Just hypothetically speaking, hopefully wouldn't be a reality

Last 6 games we got 3 points. 6 games is the usual current form table. If 3 points wasn’t bottom it was pretty close.

Some like to take a negative spin on things and some like to stay positive (at least as long as it is possible). I'm in the second group and I have therefore created a list of positive things to keep in mind going into a very existing and hopefully rewarding season.
I have not created a list of negative things as there are many other posters that are far more suited to create that kind of list.
My list of positive things:- No more surprises for Sabri. He knows all about the Championship this time around
- Sabri has gotten HIS preferred coaching and backroom team in place
- Finally, some continuity at Forest as we start the season with the same manager as started the previous one
- The team's defensive structure were established last season and hopefully Sabri can focus a bit more on the attacking part of the game
- Last season's heartbreak end should be a huge motivating factor for the team - 100% focus all the time
- Finally, two new capable strikers to take some of the pressure off Grabban
- Long term target Freeman recruited that could prove to be the final piece in the puzzle - that creative spark
- Some much needed quality added to the midfield in Colback and Fred which should bring steel, mobility and urgency
- Darikwa back from injury and he has the potential to take over from Cash - he has got the pace and willingness to attack
- Da Costa should be fully acclimatized to the Championship now - could prove to be one of the standout players next season
- It seems like we have corrected our recruitment strategy - our old pal Mendes seems to have disappeared :-)
- Mighten and Johnson were introduced to the first team last season and they should be ready to contribute a lot more this season
- We have the best keeper in the league
- We have a settled CB pairing that is one of the best in the league
- We have one of the best strikers in the league
- We have at least one of the best wingers in the league
- We now have a bigger and better squad and according to rumors more players are on the way
Feel free to add to the list.
It looks great on paper. Lets see how it goes on the grass though.

It's a performance based industry so result do matter. Fingers crossed.

I feel this got taken our of context, it was positive honest (just confusingly put)
I meant that I wouldn't change manager unless things were going so bad we were near the bottom which is hopefully unlikely. Therefore I would back him to stay the whole season
