I know it was a long time ago but I thought Ben Olsen was a good loan signing for us! (Takes me back!)

Well if we’re talking ancient history, Charlie George was a superb loan signing. Scored the winning goal to win us the Super Cup against Barcelona.

I can see steady progress being made. Things are far from perfect but we are on the right road. A bit more patience is needed.

I still believe that EM will deliver in time.

I'm glad someone is, I hope he will but we've heard it all before.
Time for him to step up to the plate and show the supporters that he's not full of hot air and BS.

Back on track.

That first sentence above is forgotten far too easily.

EM might not have achieved is ultimate goal yet but where we are now as a club and where we were 3 years ago is a million miles apart.

Massive test ahead now for his ownership IMO. If he's going to to raise transfer funds by selling young talent first then he best be sure that the money generated is invested wisely, otherwise the team goes back 3 years player wise. It can be done, we've seen it happen at other clubs. I remain to be convinced we'll do it well.

Regret to say ‘back of house’ .

Seriously TPL. The club has made no progress at all since EM took over?

Please tell me you are joking. Or are you just looking at League position and nothing else that invloves running a football club. (League position has also improved by the way after staying up on the last day of the season 3 years ago).

I would just like to add that if it weren't for some fantastic work carried out by Vrentzos I doubt we would have a football club to be talking about now.

That is how bad it was thanks to our previous owner.

i don't really mind where we are, i would like better communication, i like the idea of Marinakis being like a the keeper of your trust fund, a sensible slightly distanced uncle type but ultimately a fan, i think there is too much of a gap, poor communication, that is how it seems, it almost feels like i would prefer the guy to communicate 'sorry guys we're bust need raise the prices of tickets, beer and everything just to scrape survival in the division' type stuff as opposed to the hopeful silence that he might splash big cash on a few players, just a feeling, difficult to guage owner wise as the the owner of your team is someone you can easily like and admire and maybe he doesn't realise it but the friendship/respect doesn't have to be based on success. Even this present disappointment there could of been a bit of we are all in it together and let's get through this stronger, even if it is just grass roots, community, being seen around the city and being a fan sometimes.

At the moment it's like the Forest empire is distant and a bit too mystical and the guy can seem a bit like Darth Vader, it's more about will Sabri be pooh'd out of the death star or not?

Regret to say ‘back of house’ made little/no progress at all.

I refer Sniff to the ticket office & retail offerings - negligible change.
I did qualify my earlier comment by referring to ‘back of house’.
Football operations are totally separate - those take a little longer. But no excuse for continued issues in ticket office etc.
