It's not Sangare's passing which worries me it's his dynamism. He seems so slow on the turn and if we give the ball away he really struggles to get back in position quickly.

This is the bit that stands out to me too, I mean he was lucky to avoid a red vs Palace after being slow to get back. For me any benefits in his passing, do not outweigh this. Feels like a pretty obvious position to be improving on in the summer.

I think results and performances were getting worse a long time before his last two starts.
Think he's been pretty good in his last two games. Hoping there's still more to come from him though.

I'm not trying to dig the guy out but just wondering what have you seen that has been good?

If he was improving the team surely you'd expect an improvement in performances right? Otherwise at best he's as good as whoever he replaced.

Wassy i think you're right about the element of almost wanting him to come good and therefore seeing any positive possible. That said the few games prior to his introduction our ball retention was woeful, yes he takes the easy pass a hell of a lot but at the same time he's not trying the worldies Anderson and MGW have been guilty of which have done nothing but lose the ball.

Yeah I do agree with that, they are a bit aggressive sometimes with direct passes. It's frustrating when you think maybe just chill and be slightly more patient.

That has been our tactic all season though, I guess you can't have counters like we do without being aggressive. I think you're right though, sometimes the balance swings too far and they don't read the room. Particularly, in fact, in the games where we're playing a deep that chooses to let us have more possession.

I wish Nuno would give Sosa a run until CHO can come on. Chomping at the bit with a point to prove making attacking runs.

I accept there's pros and cons to both systems though, especially away from home.

Without CHO we have looked unbalanced, am surprised Nuno didn't think about using Moreno as a LW or even Toffolo at LB and Williams at LW.
