Other than that, i've a sneaking suspicion that Taylor may get a start over Awoniyi.

Taylor? Can't see it, it'll be Surridge.

It will be Awoniyi he's our record signing lets give the lad a chance. If we are relying on Lyle Taylor to score goals for us in the PL then we are in trouble I am afraid to say.

I honestly can't see Taylor, who was loaned out when we were in the championship, starting ahead of our new club record signing. It's not like he's only just signed, he's been in the building for quite a while now.

Something that's been bugging me for a while. If we manage to sign MGW (big IF of course), how would we fit him in? 

Feels like either Lingard or MGW would have to drop deeper into the 2 in CM, MGW would play up top with Brennan or a change in formation.

Could switch to a 343 with MGW and Lingard out wide and Brennan up top? Or more likely 4231/433?

I think our current tactics will work really well in the prem and it feels like.our full backs have been signed due to their ability at wing back so I'm unconvinced we'll be looking to switch to 4 at the back but surely MGW wouldn't be signed to be a backup to Lingard and vice versa?

Why not MGW, Brennan and Jessie has the front three in flexible permeations. Jessie and MGW are adaptable and Brennan can play right or left but not with his back to goal. Those three are capable of creating plenty of problems. Last two seasons Man City not really played with an out and out centre forward and scored plenty. MGW can play with his back to goal. Need to sign him first though.
